Let's Brew a Floral Blend
Happy Sunday everyone. This past week has been very emotionally rough for me, and I kept debating whether or not to do a post. But working on my blog posts have always been therapeutic for me, as well as putting outfits together. So let's get this week's post started.
Uber opened last week and the theme this month is Country Spring. Let me just say....it isn't very country at all. Lots of leather jackets, bikinis, and cute shorts, yet not much "country". I absolutely adore the new hair by Truth, it reminds me of Maui for some reason. I think it is due to the flower add-on...even though the flower is a daisy and not a plumeria. Moon Hair also has a really cute fat braid with daisy add-ons as well. Adds a bit of youthfulness and innocence to an otherwise simple hairstyle.
Vinyl and Azuchi has collaborated to create this really cool leather jacket and shirt combo. You buy the pieces separately, and you can then mix and match. I bought the brown leather jacket along with the Off Duty Mermaid tank--kinda badass, yet fun...a fun badass? If it wasn't a thing before, it is now. Foxes also has these AMAZING leather jackets with fun designs on the back and some of them have the designs on the sleeves. I bought two of the jackets, one with an elephant, and then the simple white leather jacket with just the bronze detailing. Very fun, and adds a bit of a bohemian edge to something normally rebellious.
Tres Blah has a cute tank and skirt combo out. Again you buy your pieces separately so you can mix and match as you would like. I think this outfit was perfect, and it actually follows the theme for this month. Very fun, very freeing, and very simple.
A few people have released bikinis and lingerie for this event. I liked the Blueberry's best. I bought two pairs, the red and then the pink floral. Each bikini comes with a cute little floatie you can wear and just chill on or you can use the hud provided with it to bump and follow your friends (your friends would have to be wearing a floatie as well). Reign and Just Because helped take part in the floatie fun and both of their floaties you can purchase separately at the Blueberry booth. I bought the Just Because black cat, because secretly I am a crazy cat lady.
Not much else to report. Pure Poison has two cute shoes out which are completely customizable via the texture hud. Reign also has come cool boots, I could never call them country because the metal boot jewelry attached makes it look way more biker-chick than anything. Still lots of awesome stuff from the grids creators this month. Check it out whenever you get the chance. Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers~

Sunshine and Good Times
Happy Sunday everyone! What a beautiful week and weekend. The sun has been shining, the temperature is finally warm, and my windows are open! Let's have some tea and talk a little about the Epiphany Gacha before I leave to spend another day outside.
The Epiphany Gacha is a quarterly event, and is a gacha lover's dream. I have written about it before in an earlier post, but for a refresher course on how the event works: you play the gachas you want, and you can redeem your extras and any unwanted items in for points. When you get 25 points you can get an exclusive item from one of the creators. The awesome thing is up to 100 points each round carries over to the next. So if you don't use them all one round you can use them next without having to play more gachas. This round was fun because there were only a few items, gachas and exclusives, I was interested in getting. Luckily I got them all, and I ended up having way more points than normal. So I got a few more exclusives than I was planning, all good things, all good things...
The big items I was playing for were by Truth and Jian. I really wanted all three hairstyles Truth Hawks released for the event. They are braided hair styles and I think they look pretty Badass. Jian also has these really cute shiba puppy companions. You can play for a hold-able pet, a roaming pet, and a following pet. I think there are a few decor ones as well. I was lucky and got the hold-able, roaming, and follower in my first, and only, three plays. Foxes has an exclusive item which is a pitbull companion. I love my little buddy. I think he is just adorable.
The one exclusive I really wanted was by Moon Elixir. Moon Elixir has some cool athletic pieces. I wasn't a fan of the underwear like bottoms or the robe-dress thing. I was really interested in the Chakra Sports-Bra. the textures are wonderful and the Om clasp in the back is so cool! I really like it. I have the outfit paired with a cosmic tattoo and some sporty leggings by Erratic. I think it gives me a boxer/fighter look. Again...Bad Ass.
That's it for this week. Please take some time to check out Epiphany Gacha. The event ends on May 5th, so there is still plenty of time to drop some Linden and win some prizes! Enjoy your day out in the Sun my Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches~

Let's Drink Tea in the Secret Garden
Hey everyone! I am back from my vacation, and let's just say I am already planning another. Who doesn't like spending time on white sandy beaches and watching dolphins play all day long? Or fishing! UGH, I didn't have enough time to actually fish this vacation, so the next one I am going to have to just spend the whole time fishing. Get my quota in. I know this post is way overdue, but you still have some time to visit Collabor88 before April 7th. March's theme is Secret Garden.
I loved watching the movie The Secret Garden when I was little, and I loved it so much I read the book. Beautiful. It is what got me into working outside and gardening. I didn't know what the theme was going to be this round until right when it opened. I was shocked and awed for sure. I did get a little Linden$ crazy, but I stayed within my budget! Most important.
My favorite and cutest purchase is by Birdy, and it's a cute holdable hedgehog named Hoggy. I have named mine Hans. The hedgehog is cute and cuddley and I love him. When I saw him I thought of the old story about Hans the Hedgehog. I remember watching the old Jim Henson show The Storyteller and this was one of the episodes. It was a bout a boy who was born and looked like a hedgehog, and ran off and, long story short, ended up marrying a princess and turning into a handsome man. While this hedgehog doesn't turn into a prince or into anything, he is super adorable.
Zaara has a cute jumpsuit out called Ekanta, and I had to buy the fatpack. At only 888L$ for 8 different colors, that is a steal! If you don't want the fatpack, it is 288L per jumpsuit. It fits Maitreya Lara Mesh Body only, so beware of that. The jumpsuits are simple and cute, and can be worn with practically anything in my opinion. Love them.
The Secret Store has a cute dress/teddy with cute slippers with pom-poms on the toes. I really liked the shoes, but I just felt the little silk dress was a must. I think it would look a bit edgy with a cropped leather jacket. I have the dress right now with no accessories because I want to find the perfect jacket for it, or a nice knit sweater. So this dress right now is "to be continued" in my inventory.
Pixicat also has a cute delicate looking dress, and the name for it really fits it, Delicate. It is little, it is lacey, and it just is precious. I also LOVE this dress by Nylon Outfitters called "Secret Garden Dress". The dress is a light, it looks classy, and it has Maitreya appliers for it as well as layers for the classic avatar. I find myself going between my Maitreya body and my classic body a lot.
There are also a lot of really cute hair styles for the ladies to try out. Doe has a really cute simple do, and so does Little Bones and Exile. Doe and Exile have floral options. While Doe you can color change the roses, with Exile the daisies stay the same color, white. Not a bad thing, just it would be nice to color change them.
I hope everyone has a great week! And I hope you all get to check out Collabor88's Secret Garden before April 6th. April 6th is the last day this round will be open, and Collabor88 will be setting up for their new round on April 7th. Stay awesome Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches!

Add Milk for a More Ethereal Taste
Happy Sunday everyone! This past week, again, has been super busy for me. Luckily my vacation starts in a few days. I will finally be able to get a lot of rest and relaxation done! HURRAY! On with this week's post.
Uber opened the end of February with the theme of Ethereal, and let's just say I went crazy. So many gorgeous things. I really did like quite a few outfits and pieces. I am so happy with this round, especially since the last few events haven't really inspired my muse. The creators have ignited my inspiration with their items this time. Let's start with my favorites...
Just Because has a GORGEOUS gown out for the event. The gown is called Kimbra, and it reminds me of a gown an angel would wear--not quite a dress, not quite a toga. There are two parts to the gown, the gown itself and then the optional train. Trust me...you are going to want to wear the train. The dress has some sequins beading in the bust traveling down the gown, to give it a bit more dimension. It is very important to note this dress is for MESH BODIES ONLY. There are no standard sizes for the classic avatar. So make sure you have a body, AND YOU DEMO BEFORE YOU BUY!
ISON also has a gown out with reminded me briefly of the gown released for Collabor88 back in August. This gown has a lacy bodice which then gives way to a sheer bottom overlay. Simple, pretty, and adds a bit of classic look to your evening wear. I thought the gown looks great paired with Truth's new hair called Polilla (which can also be found at the event). The hair does come with optional moth and headband add-ons. I prefer the hair without the add-ons for this outfit, but I do like the moth concept itself. Adds a bit of mystic I think to the hairstyle.
Kitja has a cute and more modern outfit. A lace skirt and a loose blouse combo which to me looks very chic and simple. I like this outfit a lot, and I think it is probably my favorite purchase from Uber. You can pick your own color combination, and again like with the Just Because gown, this outfit is for MESH BODY wearers. No standard sizes are included. Please Demo before you buy.
That's it for this week. Hopefully I get to where I am going on vacation and will be able to post something for the Arcade next Sunday. Hey, who knows...I might even post right before I leave. Lots of love to you all! Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers! XOXO

Fashion Flashback- Tres Blah
Hey everyone! I haven't done a Fashion Flashback post in a while so I thought this week would be a good time! The store I want to talk about isn't from the beginning of my SecondLife, but I did discover the creator when I first found out about fashion events. Tres Blah... Simple and Classy.
I first found Tres Blah at Collabor88--if my memory is correct--Juliette Westerburg released a safari outfit which I thought was precious. The stall had the whole ensemble, boots and all. I loved it, and decided to explore Second Life in my safari gear.
After buying her outfits from Collabor88, I decided to go check out the mainstore and I fell in love with a watercolor dress. I love watercolors and paint splashes on clothes; to me it makes the clothes look more real. I bought the dress, and when my avatar was walking in it, the bottom of the skirt moved with a little bit of a swish. It is hard to explain, and if I knew how to make a gif I would post it, but I don't know how. All I can tell you is this dress is so cute and fun and awesome!
Tres Blah's style is very simple and classy. Nothing too revealing, and it does show some skin it is done with good taste. Tres Blah was one of the first mesh creators I found who had outfits and items which fit my style. Since I have been shopping events and getting my SL shopping addiction Tres Blah has been a regular name on my shopping list. I highly recommend people to check out Tres Blah's mainstore at Collabor88!

~On a Whim~
Happy Sunday everyone! Really REALLY short post this week, but I wanted to give a bit of information on a new event called Whimsical. It opened on the 18th, and it is very...whimsical.
The Whimsical event was created by people from The Fantasy Collective and The Epiphany Gacha. The whole sim itself is very relaxing and landscaped so well--almost like you can take a nice spring summer stroll around a fresh garden. The vendor stalls fit in so well with the landscape; the whole event looks well put together! Kudos to everyone who had a hand in the landscaping and decorating! Well done! I love when you go to an event and everything looks nice and is easy to navigate. (There are also maps placed around the landing point so you can easily find where all the designers/creators have set up.
I didn't buy any clothing items for my avatar at the event, however I did like some accessories, especially these constellation necklaces by ERSCH. I am a huge lover of the stars. I remember when I was younger going outside late at night with my father and finding all the constellations and looking for shooting stars. And even now, being a real and hard working adult I am, I still find myself looking at the same constellations and STILL I am in awe. The necklaces come in a gacha, so you can not buy the specific constellation you want, but you could get these really cool tiaras (they are the rares). Just an FYI: there is one box in the gacha which is mislabeled. If you are a gemini, your item is #4, and when you open the box for #4 it will say Virgo. IT IS NOT VIRGO; I think the creator got the item names mixed up. #2 is Virgo and #4 is Gemini.
Truth is also at the event with a fun new hair called Henya. There is an optional headband and feather add on which is really cool. I would of loved if there was a peacock feather option, but there are some nice color choices. Also you can add on a whisp of hair at your bangs, and also hair covering your front. In the picture above I have on only the whisp and the front hair attachment.
There are of course lots, and I do mean LOTS, of other really cool items and creations--I was just interested in the constellation necklaces and the hair by Truth. The event will be open till March 3rd, so go on over to Whimsical and take a look around. Even if you don't buy anything, it is still a lovely walk.

Paint, Prisms, and a Good Pu'erh
Hello Tea Readers! This past week seems to have mimicked last week in regards to hectic schedules and crazy times. I was able to relax a bit more (but I think that was with help from some wonderful bourbon chocolates and some fun company). The events I want to tackle this week is Kustom9 and The Epiphany Gacha.
Kustom9 opened last Friday, and the is only ONE thing I bought... It is a comfy looking sweater with a belt by Zenith. And the BIG reason why I bought this sweater wasn't really for the comfinese-look factor--it was for the one color option....of all the colors. I adore the rainbow color of the sweater I bought. It is fun, it goes with pretty much everything, and I just adore it. The belt comes with a color change Hud, and the sweater pairs well with some jeans I bought by Blueberry (I am really growing this brand). I have paired the sweater and jeans with some Converse Tennis shoes by FateWear, and I have also paired it with boots by Reign. I just love the color in this sweater. There are other colors, and while they do look nice....I think the rainbow colors are the BEST!
The Epiphany Gacha opened sometime last week, and I didn't even bother trying to teleport in because I knew it would be full, laggy, and kinda crazy for a while (Plus there were only a few things I was even interested in to begin with). I was really wanting some of these Avigon Familiars by Jian and a hair by Truth. While I was trying to teleport in, I was looking on the guide on Seraphim and I decided if I had the linden, I would go ahead and try a few other gachas. And I could not believe what happened when I got in. I got there right after a region restart. And the first 3 or 4 gachas I played, I got the rare first try.... WHEN AND HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! I don't know if it was because of the region restart or what, but I was so excited. I ended up playing every gachaon my list, and again, I won the rares. Not first go for for the last few, but within a few "pulls". I was so excited. I would highly recommend for these gacha events, and any event for that matter to try to look at the Seraphim guide, and plan out how much you are willing to spend.
The amazing thing about Epiphany is you can trade you extras for points, and when you have enough points you can get an exclusive item. The exclusive item I really wanted was the Rainbow Prism Avigon by Jian. There is a perched one and a arm one. and I wanted the arm one. And what was really PERFECT about the Rainbow Prism Avigon is he matches my rainbow sweater by Zenith!!! Those items were made for each other! So adorable...I could die.
Again, I would highly recommend looking at Seraphim's shopping guide for the Epiphany, and for any event really. Plan ahead before you go!!! Let's make this week amazing!!! Hugs and Smooches!!!!!!

Peppermint Tea to Help After the Holidays
Happy Holidays and Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas; if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you had a wonderful winter weekend! I was debating whether or not to post this weekend, but after I went to N21 and Uber I thought I would do a short and sweet post.
I haven't mentioned the event N21 much in my blog, but this event opens every month on the 21st. It doesn't really do themes, but all the items there are very original and fun. This round I bought some cute navy leggings by Blueberry, and I played Reign's gacha and won some cute boots which reminds me of Uggs.
Uber opened on Christmas with a freestyle round! Really exciting. I bought another piece by Blueberry--a fun sweater dress. It comes with a color change hud for the sweater's buttons and fur lining. Also Pixicat has a wonderful jumpsuit! I adore the glitter colors. Baiastice has a really cute lace dress. And Nylon Outfitters released this really cute Beauty Pageant dress and make-up and tiara with sash's which to me makes small fun at the Miss Universe Pageant. Really funny. All of you should go check it out~ The creators really did a great job! I am always excited to see all the creativity.
Super short post, but I figured everyone is still going to be busy with family and friends! Happy Sunday everyone! And I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!!!!! Hugs and Smooches~

Irish Coffee to Start Your Holidays
Sun has had a busy week, and when she asked me if I would consider doing this week's post I jumped at the chance. This has been both a busy and wonderful week for me. But this is not about me. This is about fashion--if there were an Uber theme made for me, it would be their current theme for the month, Androgynous. So settle in for a moment with some Irish Coffee or a cuppa.
I usually do not do much when it comes to fashion events on Second Life. Sun is usually the one to tell me all about it and shows me what I might want to get, or what she thinks will look good on me. Sun told me she thought this month's theme of Androgynous for Uber reminded her of me and that I would love it. I went, and I spent much more Linden than I had planned. Oh my goodness. I was in fashion heaven. I loved every outfit. I do not think I could pick a favorite for this round of Uber. I will be going back to get more once I get paid.

It was nice to see an event that has so many different styles which can be worn by both genders. This is not generally something I tend to think about when I'm out shopping for my avatar; I hardly ever go shopping for my avatar because nine times out of ten I'm in my dragon avatar. But after walking around Uber, I was pleased to see that both genders can use some of these outfits and styles. So if you have a boyfriend, husband, male avatar, or if you just want to get some awesome clothes, go to Uber. You have a plethora of chic options to choose from.
And since the opening rush is done and over with for Uber, it should not take you more than one try to get into the event. Just be sure to bring plenty of Linden.

Let's All Have Some Verbena
Happy Sunday! I hope this week has been a positive one for everyone, and all my Tea Readers have been safe. On with this week's Second Life Fashion.
Kustom9 opened last Sunday, and unfortunately I was not drawn to any of the items. I saw a few items for friends, but for myself...nothing really jumped at me. I will say I did buy some skates from N-Core which double as ice skates and roller skates. If you want to check out some of the items at Kustom9, click this link to Seraphim's Gallery of all the items and prices for this round. Even though I was a tad disappointed at Kustom9, something even better was purchased on Sunday because guess who had a late set-up at Collabor88?
ZAARA! OMG! My SL designer crush. She has this cool tunic which is fitted specifically for the Maitreya Mesh Lara Body. She has not done any standard sizes and it will not work with other mesh bodies...I don't think. I can't really test it with other bodies since I only have the Maitreya body. There are both sheer and solid versions when you purchase your color. I have been wearing both around. Everywhere. I LOVE IT! Of course I doubt Zaara could create something I dislike. I have been wearing the plain white tunic with some mermaid leggings by ISON and some simple black booties by Fri.day. I have also been wearing the nude floral print tunic in the sheer, but I won't show those pictures. Got to keep this blog classy~
Well, Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and don't forget to go to Seraphim for some Black Friday Sales on Friday!!

Some English Breakfast
Happy Sunday everyone! I feel a winter chill in the air, yet it still feels like Autumn just started. This new round at Collabor88 is a perfect "warm-up" for this coming winter. The theme is Autumn Blues.
Autumn Blues makes me think of well....sadness and depression; Collabor88's Autumn Blues is everything but. Lots of cool and dark colors, but everything looks so warm and comfortable. When I went last Sunday I was cuddled up on my sofa with a thick blanket wearing an over-sized sweater. It just felt perfect. There are sweaters and scarves and boots and so much more!! Tres Blah has a fun sweater/camisole set out. In the promo picture the set is paired with shorts, but I pulled out some skinny jeans Tres Blah released not too long ago. Perfect casual attire for shopping or hanging out with friends.
Another outfit I really like is by The Secret Store. The dress is paired with a sweater and I like the attached leather belt. I went a bit different with it than I was originally planning. When I was picking out my colors, I was going to go for the sky blue cardigan, but I ended up being really drawn to the mauve color. I still went with the white dress. It took me a while to pair the outfit with the right shoes, but I made it work. Maxi Gossamer also has a few necklaces out, but the one I bought (and I think this will be my new favorite go to necklace) is a vial with some leaves and a cute chibi fox inside. I ADORE IT. Simply adore. I love foxes and this necklace is so cute. We need more pretty fox jewelry in our lives, both First and Second. Just my opinion.
Now onto my favorite buy. There is a sweater by Erratic which is exclusively for the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body...and I LOVE IT! So much. There is a lace underlay, and you can change the color of the lace or hide the lace depending on how you want to pair it. The sweater is over-sized, and I am sure you already know by now how much I love comfy sweaters. Erratic does have some packs of leggings to go with the sweater, and you get quite a few colors in a pack, but for 388L$ I could not justify buying the leggings when I have plenty other leggings I could use. Turns out I didn't end up wearing leggings with it at all; ISON released these fun boots with some sock add-ons. I think the boots with the sweater look amazing--like they were made for each other.
I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their weekend, and a great week! Enjoy the crisp Autumn air, have some hot tea, and please take some time out and go check out Collabor88.

Chai Karak to Stay Calm
Hey Tea Readers! I know this week's post is early, but I have a crazy weekend planned--my best friend is getting married and since I am the wedding planner, well....I have my hands full. I have recently been trying to keep my posts short and sweet, so hopefully this week's post keeps with the others.
FaMESHed opened on Sunday for November, and I didn't go crazy, but I did buy two cute outfits! Baiastice has a really pretty, almost period type, dress which I LOVE! The dress comes in two different versions, sheer and non-sheer. I prefer the sheer version, but I have long hair in the front covering my breasts, so no flashing from me. I like a bit of an edge and I feel the sheer does give it a bit of an edge.
The other outfit is by Rebel Hope, and it is a cardigan/shirt and skirt combo. You pick your pieces and thankfully the cardigan comes with a hud to change the shirt textures so you can add come color to go with your accessories. I love the red/white color combination, so guess which combo I purchased? Red and White. Which is kind of funny because the wedding this weekend, it's color is navy and white.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week and weekend! Send out positive thoughts for my bestie and for me. I am just hoping everything goes as smooth as possible and I will actually be able to enjoy the wedding and reception. Cheers~

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos! I hope everyone's weekend has been a lot of fun. I also hope everyone had fun dressing up for the holiday! I dressed like Jack the Ripper this year. And let me tell you, my costume was EPIC! I had mutton chops and everything!!! Since Halloween is over, people can now fully enjoy the Autumn season, which has been gorgeous.
Uber opened last weekend and the theme is Pumpkin Spice....LOVE! All the items have fall colors and are just amazing. I had to set a spending limit for this round, because if I did not set a limit I would buy all the items...All the items...
Erratic has a sweater legging combo exclusively for the Maitreya Mesh Body. I love the textures on the sweater. It looks like wool and I love it. Just LOVE. ISON has a fun poncho out for the event as well and the texture options to pick from are fun. Fashionably Dead has a cute dress and sweater combo, and the combo just reminds me of when I have the windows open on a crisp Autumn day and have the kettle on. It looks like something I would wear while bundling up on the sofa with a throw-blanket. Just deliciously wonderful. Reign has some really cool moccasins, and Emery has a shirt which reminds me of Coco Chanel with the simple colors and stripes-and as I have mentioned before, I am a sucker for Coco Chanel. Zenith has a wonderful dress which has a hud to change the texture of the skirt and the leather belt. I always love it when creators include huds to change textures. It gives you so much more options, like buying a fatpack...except not.... You know what I mean.
I don't often talk about the hairs I am wearing but for the Pumpkin Spice round, I feel I have to. Truth's hair is just...Adorable! Just Adorable!!! It comes with a hat option, and the hat is a fox! You can even change the fox's colors with a hud. I ADORE IT!! And I am not often one for hats. Olive also has a cute side braid and I am a complete sucker for braids. Due has a cute hair as well, again it is a side braid, but it reminded me too much of Truth's Ishya. Still really cute.
Sort of short post again this week, but I just really hope everyone has enjoyed Halloween and Dia de los Muertos. Remember to pay your respects to your ancestors and don't forget--pour yourself a cuppa.

Start Blending Your Spices for the Perfect Chai
Happy Sunday! I hope this weekend has been awesome for everyone. This week has been crazy busy, but lots of fun! I have spent this whole weekend with my college besties. I haven't been online much this week, but I have been to Shiny Shabby. Go ahead and have a cuppa and enjoy this week's fashion picks.
Shiny Shabby opened on Tuesday, and I was so excited to see quite a lot of outfits and items I liked. I ended up making a list and planning my shopping out; I have noticed I have been planning out my Second Life shopping a lot lately. It makes keeping myself on a budget easier, and then I can save lots more money this way.
Moon Amore has a COOL coat for the autumn. I love the windblown look, and it goes so perfectly with an editorial hair I got at The Arcade (The Arcade's last day is Wednesday September 30). It reminds me of taking evening walks around the woods and fields around my family's home and the wind gusts blowing through my hair. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
GizzA has a fun shirt and shorts set. You can choose between colors they come in color combo packs. You still have to buy the shirts and shorts separate from each other. I love the tucked-in shirt. It just looks so laid-back and comfy. Zenith also has a fun dress out for this round. It is a really pretty simple long dress with sleeves that scrunch up at the elbow. It comes in very neutral colors, different shades of brown and white. There aren't any pinks or blues or blacks.
The dress by Valentina is really pretty and elegant looking. It really does look like cashmere and makes me want to pull out my cashmere sweaters for the Autumn. The pearls scattered around the skirt make the outfit flirtatious... in my opinion. And come on, who doesn't like to be a little flirty in the Fall? It is starting to get colder, people are starting to add on layers and the leaves are changing colors. The air is getting crisp and people are starting bonfires and hay rides....Lots of opportunities to cuddle up next to someone special or spend extra time with your loved ones. Love it.
Well, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend, and I hope the start of Autumn has been wonderful. Hugs and Smooches my Tea Readers!!!!

Happy Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day Weekend Tea Readers!! The first day of Autumn is fast approaching, and this my only Holiday weekend until November, so I am soaking in the sun and family time as best I can. I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend, and I hope you all have a long weekend. If you don't have Monday off, try and break away from work or from your normal routine and enjoy the sun and have cuppa.
I am not going to post much; I have been to The Arcade and to this new round at FaMESHed, but didn't buy much. The Arcade doesn't have many outfits, but Pixicat has a fun dress and shirt/jacket out along with some really cute sphinx cats. And Birdy has cute witchy items and familiars. I will go more into it next Sunday. For now, Hugs and Smooches my Tea Readers! Enjoy your weekend!!!

Chocolate Croissants for a Sinful Experience
Yay for Sundays! I hope this week as been amazing. I know for me it really has been. I am back to a normal work schedule, and I have been trying to spend as much time as I can soaking up the end of summer--who knows how this winter will be.
Festival of Sin opened last Sunday, and I was so shocked at how easy it was to teleport in and to find everything. The layout is very fun; each sin is separated (lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, sloth, vanity) and it was so fun exploring the different areas. I only made purchases in envy and vanity. Envy's set is my favorite. It looks like a pleasant suburb with trees, birds and cute little houses.
The two outfits I bought were from Baiastice and Junbug. Baiastice's dress is really opulent looking to me. You have choices between solid and ombre colors. In each pack there is a solid and a sheer version. In my opinion the sheer version is the best. It shows off your legs, and leaves your privates covered enough so you do not have to wear underwear if you do not want to (and still don't really "show" anything). The Junbug outfit isn't a dress; it is a "bloomer" set. I personally love the flowers. The openness of the front with the complete coverage in the back makes it look fun from every angle! I don't think I will be wearing the outfit "out" much, but I will probably be running around my studio and home in it. Yay!
Uber opened on Tuesday with an Athletic theme. I bought more than I thought I would, but my real purchases were some skins by Glam Affair. They are a bit brighter and cleaner, and I love them! I bought a few sports items, but my favorite has to be a cropped t-shirt from Bueno which says, "Yoga and Wine". The shirt is a darker purple, not my normal color, but it looks great with my new pair of Yoga pants from Blueberry which are AMAZING! I know this picture is kind of random, but I like this look a lot as well.
Well, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend/week. Go outside and play for a bit. Hug your friend, family, significant other, pet, pillow, or whatever. Then log on to Second Life and shop till you drop!

Where you are teleporting is right at the Vanity portion, but all the other locations are on the same sim. Vanity is at the top of the sim, so you can work your way down--just follow the road.

Fashion Flashback#5
So, after posting my last fashion flashback of Zaara, and Earth's post on Utopia..... I had no idea who I would post on. See, in my early days of Second Life I was at a lot of Medieval and Tolkien Sims. Even now I still enjoy going to Medieval and Mythical Sims (I might still live on one *wink wink*). So I was talking to Earth about what the heck I was going to do a fashion flashback on, and she said, "Well, why can't you do Evie's Closet?" And I got to thinking... Why not?!
Evie's Closet... Let me start with how I like literally just randomly stumbled upon it. I was at an Elven Market on an Elven Sim, and the shops area at the time (for me and my dinosaur of a computer I had) was laggy. I was trying to get to one area of the pier to shop and my mouse and arrows weren't helping me navigate and I ended up crashing into a vendor stall in front of another shop on the opposite side of the pier. As I was trying to rez everything, this pretty white dress (Evie's Iseult Winter) came up and I decided to check to see the price. It was, I believe, around 250-300L and I figured why not. It was and still is a pretty mesh dress. I bought it, then I was informed I had 500L store credit... or some crazy number. So I IMMEDIATELY searched for a landmark to her main store, went and proceeded to spend my store credit and more Linden$ on outfits. And that is my Evie's Closet story...
Evie's Closet is usually at We <3 Role-Play every month, and though sometimes her dresses are for role-play, a lot of the time (more times than not) you can wear her outfits around anywhere. Her dresses range from elegant to flirty. I like the versatility of the outfits and the prices are very reasonable for such good quality. And for some of you who like lingerie (and really, who doesn't)...Evie has that, too! When I say she is versatile, I mean it. She normally does a color theme per outfit, some are just in brights, some are in pastels, and some are in darks. Not much mixing of the color themes. One really cool thing Evie does with ALL of her outfits is she includes a notecard with the styling credits for each from the Vendor/Ad pictures. It is really helpful if you see a hair or an accessory you saw and really liked. Really awesome and helpful--Thanks Evie.
I haven't known about Evie's Closet for long...well, it depends on your definition of long on Second Life... I discovered her about a year or year and a half into my Second Life, and like I said, I just stumbled upon her. I know this is really short, but I wanted to mention how amazing and show how versatile Evie's Closet really is.
