Happy Sunday Tea Readers!! Back again for a new post. I hope everyone has enjoyed the start of autumn! Lots of fun outdoor activities going on where I live.. I am going to share my favorite buy from Collabor88 this month!
This month's round for Collabor88 is "Echoes of Autumn". Now, some of the items really fit the theme, and some items don't really fit, in my opinion. But I want to share my Favorite buy from this month's round. It is by Zaara, of course, and it is blouse and skirt set which seems very gypsy to me. Very flowing. I bought the fatpacks, because that is how I roll with most of Zaara's items. And the skirts come 2 different options-a solid option and a patterned/patched option. I like the pattern option because it seems more organic and more personalized. There is a belt you can buy to go with your skirt, and it comes in many color options. The items are fit for the Maitreya Mesh Body, so demo if you want to see if it will fit your body, it isn't Maitreya...or even if you have Maitreya, I always say Demo Demo Demo.
The event has other cute items, but the Zaara outfit is my favorite by far. ISON has a cute dress with a sheer cape, which comes with a static and animated option. Pixicat has these really awesome leggings that have a cosmic star animation (You know I had to buy those). And Erratic has a cute boyfriend's shirt for the ladies (Maitreya fit only). Feel free to check out the catalog on Collabor88's site, or you can check out Seraphim's gallery (which also includes price).
Collabor88 opened last Saturday, so it should be way easier to get into now. Check the catalog, make a list, check over the list, teleport over and buy all the pretties! I hope you have a great Sunday Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches~

Let's Drink Tea in the Secret Garden
Hey everyone! I am back from my vacation, and let's just say I am already planning another. Who doesn't like spending time on white sandy beaches and watching dolphins play all day long? Or fishing! UGH, I didn't have enough time to actually fish this vacation, so the next one I am going to have to just spend the whole time fishing. Get my quota in. I know this post is way overdue, but you still have some time to visit Collabor88 before April 7th. March's theme is Secret Garden.
I loved watching the movie The Secret Garden when I was little, and I loved it so much I read the book. Beautiful. It is what got me into working outside and gardening. I didn't know what the theme was going to be this round until right when it opened. I was shocked and awed for sure. I did get a little Linden$ crazy, but I stayed within my budget! Most important.
My favorite and cutest purchase is by Birdy, and it's a cute holdable hedgehog named Hoggy. I have named mine Hans. The hedgehog is cute and cuddley and I love him. When I saw him I thought of the old story about Hans the Hedgehog. I remember watching the old Jim Henson show The Storyteller and this was one of the episodes. It was a bout a boy who was born and looked like a hedgehog, and ran off and, long story short, ended up marrying a princess and turning into a handsome man. While this hedgehog doesn't turn into a prince or into anything, he is super adorable.
Zaara has a cute jumpsuit out called Ekanta, and I had to buy the fatpack. At only 888L$ for 8 different colors, that is a steal! If you don't want the fatpack, it is 288L per jumpsuit. It fits Maitreya Lara Mesh Body only, so beware of that. The jumpsuits are simple and cute, and can be worn with practically anything in my opinion. Love them.
The Secret Store has a cute dress/teddy with cute slippers with pom-poms on the toes. I really liked the shoes, but I just felt the little silk dress was a must. I think it would look a bit edgy with a cropped leather jacket. I have the dress right now with no accessories because I want to find the perfect jacket for it, or a nice knit sweater. So this dress right now is "to be continued" in my inventory.
Pixicat also has a cute delicate looking dress, and the name for it really fits it, Delicate. It is little, it is lacey, and it just is precious. I also LOVE this dress by Nylon Outfitters called "Secret Garden Dress". The dress is a light, it looks classy, and it has Maitreya appliers for it as well as layers for the classic avatar. I find myself going between my Maitreya body and my classic body a lot.
There are also a lot of really cute hair styles for the ladies to try out. Doe has a really cute simple do, and so does Little Bones and Exile. Doe and Exile have floral options. While Doe you can color change the roses, with Exile the daisies stay the same color, white. Not a bad thing, just it would be nice to color change them.
I hope everyone has a great week! And I hope you all get to check out Collabor88's Secret Garden before April 6th. April 6th is the last day this round will be open, and Collabor88 will be setting up for their new round on April 7th. Stay awesome Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches!

Pick Your Leaves for a Perfect Blend
Hello my wonderful Tea Readers! I have made it safely to my vacation destination, and have promptly been soaking up as much sunshine as I possibly can. It was a LONG drive, but I made it! Yay! Enough about me, I know you want to know about the Arcade.
The Arcade opened on March 1st with what seems like a million creators. I don't know how many creators usually participate, but this round has 99 vendors and it seems massive. My list had a lot more items than normal. I did things a little different this time....and by little I mean A LOT. I actually bought all my items from yardsales. I didn't even go into the event itself. I had liked a link on plurk for places doing yardsales (yardsales are places people sell their extra gacha items) for this round of The Arcade, and I just teleported and "Area Searched". It took me a while, but I found everything I wanted. And I know I saved more Linden shopping this way. I even bought a few Rares for a decent amount! I was ecstatic.
Birdy was the first on my list with the cute menagerie animals. I really wanted the gryphon, and it took me a while to find one at the yardsales, but I found one. And I love him. And I have named him Phillip. He is mine. It comes with a familiar to hold, a collectors card for the free book you can get at the actual Arcade, and a decorative figurine to put in a cabinet or to set out as, you guessed it, decor. There are owls, sheep, dragons, the gryphons, and a phoenix. I really did like the gryphon, but all the animals are adorable. And everyone knows I am a sucker for cute companions/familiars. Which brings me to Pixicat.
Pixicat had a fun gacha out this round. The gacha is called Karma, and there are short and long dresses which have a Moroccan pattern. There are some cute elephant figures, and a Rare companion. The elephants come in black and colored. The colored elephants remind me of the painted elephants in India. Super cute, and super little. I bought the Rare elephant companion, and it is just too cute having a painted elephant follow you around everywhere.
Jian has a fun release which brought me back to my nerdy childhood. DINOSAURS. I remember watching dinosaur documentaries and shows when I was little. And my twin sister and I would just be engrossed with the tv. It was an easy way for our parents to get us to calm down and sit still for a while. Anyway, when I saw the previews for Jian's dinosaurs I knew I had to get a few. She even named them after The Land Before Time! Adorable!! These dinos are not your normal familiars or companions-you actually ride them...so they are mounts. Even the pterodactyl flies! Like REALLY flies. I don't think it would matter which one you win/buy, I am sure you will like it!
Oleander is out for the Arcade with a simple hairstyle. The hair is down, long, and has two small braids going partially down the sides. What is really cute about Oleander's gacha is the glitter eyebrows. I LOVE THEM! The eyebrows come in basic colors (black, brown, blonde, red, and a tintable), but the glitter add-ons. UGH! SO AWESOME. I love anything with glitter so these are just wonderful. I have tried the glitter add-on with my normal brows and they work just fine, be sure to try them out. Super cute.
So hopefully you will be able to get into the Arcade pretty easily since it has been open for a bit. If you don't want to risk spending a lot and are willing to "hunt" for the item you want, I recommend going to yardsales. I will post some links down below. Good Luck Tea Readers. May the Gacha Odds be forever in your favor~

After a Workout Have Green or Black Tea
Happy Friday! I am posting this week's post early, because I will be out of town this weekend running in a marathon, and I won't be home until late Sunday evening. Wish me luck everyone!
The Arcade opened at the beginning of the month, and I was lucky enough to get to the event in a relatively decent time. And on top of the luck of getting in rather quickly, I was also lucky in all the gachas I played! I was able to get every item I wanted without going broke!!! How often does that happen?! My favorite gacha this round doesn't have anything to do with fashion, but all to do with foxes. The Secret Store has a gacha with all these cute fox friends. They come in two different colors, White, and the rares are holdable pets! I love them! I have both colors of the rares, and I can't pick a favorite. Fawny has a pretty sweater gacha that comes with reindeer decor and attachable pets as well. Moon Amore has a really pretty dress out for the event and the shoes in the gacha are really cool--they have Christmas trees on the back of the heel, very flirty and fun.
Collabor88 opened on Tuesday and again, like with a lot of Collabor88 rounds....I almost went broke. All the Linden$ I saved from being lucky at the Arcade went to this round. Nordic Winter is the theme, and there are lots of sweater, fun hairs and scarves and hats. Zaara is at this round!!! And she has an updated mesh version of her pashmina scarves. I bought two so far.... so far.... Don't be surprised if you see me there again buying more... I maybe should of bought the fatpack...but we will wait and see.... The scarves textures have been hand painted by Zaara Kohime and are so gorgeous. They are worth the Linden (288L$), even if you only buy one.
Pixicat has a fun coat available at the event, and it looks to me like a Navy Peacoat. The coat is called Stockholm--it comes with a sweater and an optional dress add on for it. I prefer the sweater so far. I detoured from my normal color choices and chose to purchase the gray coat. I love the coat paired with the scarf from Zaara. The scarf splashes color into the outfit, and to me it brings it to life.
There are two dresses I bought at the event, one by ISON and the other by Foxes. Both are more cocktail appropriate, but depending on how you pair it, you could make it more casual. The Foxes dress is a sweater dress which has an opened deep cut back. It comes with a long necklace for the back--very simple and elegant in my opinion. The only issue I can see people having with this dress... It is made to fit Mesh Bodies. If you do not own a Maitreya, SLink, or Bellza Mesh body, this dress will not work for you. It does NOT come in standard sizes for the default avatar. It also does not come with an alpha (since the mesh bodies come with an alpha hud).So buyer beware. Again, ALWAYS TRY DEMOS!
The ISON dress is default avatar and mesh body compatible. AND!!! You can buy the sweater also sold at the event, and wear the sweater with the dress. I ADORE this dress. It reminds me of a dress Emmy Rossum wore in her music video for "Slow Me Down". I love this dress. I like the sweater option, I really do...but this dress...... I love it. It is probably my new favorite. I won't lie.
I will stop there for tonight. I don't want to overwhelm too much. I would recommend checking out The Secret Store's sweater and pant, also Moon Amore has a fun sweater as well at Collabor88 worth looking at. Lots of Hairs and fun skins as well at this round. Go check it out whenever you have the time and the spare Linden$. Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers!!!!

Earl Grey for the Muted Coven
Happy Sunday! I hope this week has been another amazing week for everyone. I was glad to have Monday off from work due to Labor Day, and I have been so ready for the weekend. I think it is time for a long vacation. Especially since kids are back in school now.
Collabor88 opened on Tuesday with the theme Muted Coven. I took the theme to mean understated/subtle witchcraft. While most of the colors are dark, they are not "Bold" dark--to me everything looks to have some sort of grey shade. Still a few other color options available (I bought a few white and blue pieces).
There were a few outfits I fell in LOVE with, like immediately just had to have. ISON has this dress/overcoat outfit where there is an option for a moving coat. The dress has a look of sophistication and the coat gives the dress some flare. But the moving tailcoat option is like...the best thing ever. Here is a short video of it moving; it is really fast in the main picture shown, but a small way down there is another video with the actual movement speed. I bought the midnight blue color because the moving of the coat made me think of ocean waves...but I had to go back for the white set as well. Love this outfit! I also bough a lace outfit by Pixicat. I am a sucker for lacy, so when I saw this skirt with the lace overlay. The top is cute as well, kinda like a bralette.
I also fell for a dress by MBirdie. Very tight fitted, and the triangle cutout in the breast area adds so much. I saw the ad for the dress and I did a bad thing, I bought without trying the demo. BUT it worked out and the dress fits perfectly. I have a few MBirdie pieces which require lots of editing of my shape in order to fit properly, but this dress fits so well. And while I was putting the outfit together I had to teleport back to the event (after it taking me an hour to get there...and the lag was HORRIBLE) and purchase a coat/cloak from Schandenfreude. I decided the whole ensemble reminds me of a Hogwarts professor. AND the dress looks good with the ISON overcoat as well! Big plus.
Foxy also as a cute dress and hat outfit. Makes witchcraft look more modern and updated. And the hat fits with the Exile hairs at the event pretty well. Only minor adjustments to make them fit. On a bit of a side note...I hate editing hats. I love fancy hats, but editing always kills me. I make the hat too small, too lopsided, not enough tilt, not the same size. I am just horrible. All I had to do with this hat was move a small bit and do a small little rotation. Then Viola! Perfect look.
Enough of my crazy shopping addiction for now. I hope you get a chance to take a look at Collabor88 this month; its a wonderful round. Enjoy the rest of your week. Don't forget to take some time for yourself. Have a cuppa and stay safe!

Mermaids Must Have a Kelp-y Brew
Happy Sunday my Tea Readers! This past week has been crazy busy again for me. On a positive note, I didn't work yesterday. I like working on Saturdays because it is quiet and I get a lot of work done. However, it stinks having only a day off ,then going back to work on Monday. Good news, I still have done a lot this past week, including getting this week's post done.~
Okay, this summer's theme is appearing to be mermaids, because mermaids is the theme for Collabor88, Season's Story's backdrop is some mermaid ruins, and later this summer Enchantment will start and the story theme is The Little Mermaid. So yea, this summer is very "under the sea". As a marine biologist I adore the sea and all sea-life. If I could have one wish it would be to become a mermaid. I just love the idea of swimming around all day, looking at all the life under the water and playing with fish and cetaceans, even some of the perils of underwater life don't really phase me. I think I would make an awesome mermaid.
When I saw the theme for Collabor88 last month was chosen for "Under the Sea", I was immediately excited(like when they picked the "Into the Light" and "OMG! Unicorns"). Lots of light blues and purples for this event, and LOTS and LOTS of mermaid stuff--from sea shells to fish scales! I bought the blue ombre tank top by ISON with matching silver fish scale leggings--it is one of the more conservative looks from the event. Baiastice has a really pretty evening gown at the event, and a cute shell bra which is compatible with the dress. Foxes has two dress at the event and I had to be different and buy the blue/purple dress because it just looks so good! My favorite dress buy from the event has to be by Fashionably Dead. This blue dress is a high-lo and has "scales". When I went to the Hair Fair last Saturday evening this tentacled hair by Ohmai looks perfect with it(at least to me it does).
The Hair Fair is an annual event which doubles as a fundraiser for "Wigs for Kids". Each vendor has a certain percentage of their profits going towards the "Wigs for Kids" charity. The event opened last Saturday, and this year I went to the event so prepared! I don't think I have EVER planned out my shopping this intense before. I did all my normal research, Strawberry Singh was kind enough in one of her blog posts to link the Eloquence Blog which has pictures, prices, and locations for each vendor. So what did I do Saturday morning when I had a break at work? I looked at the hairs, and wrote the vendors and the locations for all the hairs I wanted. When I eventually logged on to Second Life in the evening I teleported into the Blonde Sim, and did area searches for all the hairs on my "Blonde" list. I did the same for Brunette, Redhead, and Noirette. I didn't teleport to the other sims, I tried to walk or fly into the other sims. Thanks to whoever made the decision to allow fly! It helped with getting around and fighting lag. I was vastly surprised when I only spend about an hour (maybe a bit longer, but definitely not an hour and a half) getting into the event and doing all my shopping. Last year when I went I was at the Hair Fair for 2+ hours, which lead me to prepare and plan everything.
Season's Story opened last Friday, and I didn't get as buy crazy as I did at the other events. The sim is gorgeous, it all looks like mermaid ruins, and who doesn't like to shop and fun places? I spent a bit of linden "playing" the Zenith gacha. I really wanted a bodysuit/swimsuit which is the rare item. I also played another gacha by SWaGGa for some flippers. I recently bought a wet suit by Meli Imako and the flippers match so well!! Now I can go snorkeling and adventuring underwater in Second Life while not being a mermaid... Who am I kidding, I will still be a mermaid~ I didn't really buy much else at Season's Story. I think after this past weekend I am all shopped out.
Long post for today. There are lots of other great items at Season's Story, but nothing really big that I felt I needed to share. I will be sure to put more items and such from these events in upcoming posts. Happy Sunday everyone! Enjoy your cuppa and the rest of your weekend.

Hong-Kong Style Milk Tea = Sweet and Lighter Taste
Hello my lovelies! I hope you have all had a wonderful week and have been enjoying the gorgeous weather outside now that Spring has Sprung, (or you are enjoying a wonderful crisp Autumn for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere). I know when I am not at work, I have been trying to go outside and enjoy nature. But enough with this week's weather, on with the post!
Collabor88 opened this past Friday and the theme is "Into the Light". So lots of light bright colors....my perfect dream. So many pastels and so much brightness. I was in love and I still am. I went way too buy happy. I spent an almost obscene amount of Linden$ at this round...and I know I will be spending more as the month goes on because I always end up going back and buying something at Collabor88. First of all, if I were you I would look at the catalog to see all the items and plan out before you go. Everything is marked down for the event and once the round is over the price will increase if the creators put the items back out at their mainstores.
I don't think I have a favorite at this round. Tres Blah has an awesome cropped sweater out and some cute light jeans and skirts. Baiastice has a shirt/short combo out and the shorts threw me off... they aren't like you typical shorts...they are more like thick panties.... Really threw me off. But I bought them, and I like them. The Secret Store also has a cute shirt/skirt combo that I like. There is a combo by UFO (Ur.Favorite.One) and the shirt can be tucked or untucked so you pair it with other items. B.C.C has a dress that is simple and the textures are amazing on it. It looks like it is of a wool material. The only thing I don't like is the alpha for some reason doesn't cover all of the chest(so depending on your shape you might have some side boob). Also ISON has a shirt/short combo as well (Lots of combos this round). I bought the grey Aztec printed shorts and the simple white top. I thought the outfit would look good with a set of pearls I bought at We <3 Role-Play called Sara. I love this outfit and have been wearing it a lot recently.
Surprisingly this post is very short, but the outfits and items at Collabor88 are all amazing. Please go check it out and bask in the brightness and light!

A Killer Blend on a Moonless Night
Happy Sunday everyone! As you all know I am on vacation this week and won't be back home until next Sunday. So hopefully, as you read this post I will be sitting on a dock fishing, reading, and drinking some iced tea.
This month's theme for Collabor88 is Moonless Night, I thought it would be a Romantic and Mysterious round...more Mysterious than anything. What do we all do when the Sun is down and the Moon is hidden? What do you do when the stars are your only witnesses? Personally, I don't have anything to hide (at least I think I don't, I am a pretty open book). I was really surprised with what everyone came up with for the theme. Apparently Moonless Night can be more interpreted as a theme towards the old TV show Twin Peaks. I am not familiar with Twin Peaks at all, so I had to do some light research into it. Basic overview, Murder happens in the small mountain town of Twin Peaks, Washington. Sexy FBI guy (same actor as Charlotte's ex-husband Trey from Sex in the City) comes to town to solve the murder. That sums up what I got from my research. So a few of the items and references made with the items I unfortunately don't understand. I was thinking it was going to be more towards romance, murder, and just plain mystery. But I guess Twin Peaks encompasses that...just not what I was expecting. I wish I got the references and hype on it.
Overall, quite a few Twin Peaks references with the outfits. Like Nylon Outfitters/Yummy has some Letterman Jackets and accessories with references to the show. There is a pretty Angora sweater by Tres Blah this round--there is a pencil skirt you can buy to go with it, but I wasn't a fan of the skirt. I also bought a denim skirt by Bueno, and both sweater and skirt do go well together. I also bought the outfit by ISON for this round. The dress has leather straps around the waist and arms, and it does remind me of a gun holster law enforcement would use. I also bought lots of shoes at this event. I couldn't help myself. And I normally don't fall for shoes in Second Life--Real Life is a whole different story.
Compared to last week, this post is super short. I hope you all have enjoyed this week's post. I promise to spare a moment and think of you while I am soaking up some Vitamin D. Earth will have a Fashion Flashback for you lovelies next Sunday for the day I get back. I have a feeling it is going to be a very wonderful post. Lots of Hugs and Smooches~

Masala Chai and a Bohemian Blend
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Holi and a great weekend. I always feel like the weekends go by way too fast. But lately I feel like the work week has had a good steady pace, too. Just a small FYI, I may be posting the next few Sundays late or early (I don't know which yet)--I will be going on vacation to recharge my batteries. I am going to try to convince Earth to do some guest blogging while I am gone.
Uber opened on the 24th (or was it the 25th.... I can't even remember) and the new theme is Bohemian. Let me just say, wow. First, I really like the hair by Truth Hawks this round (I normally do...); it is a large braid, and looks more like a twisted curl, in the back with options for flowers or butterflies to add in front and back. I can see myself wearing this hair a lot. I adore braids. Nylon Outfitters has a few items again at the event. I wasn't so interested in the clothes, I was really into the jewelry. I really like the turquoise and silver earrings and necklace. The necklace has got strands of turquoise layered on top of each other, and it is rather large, but not obnoxiously so. Currently I have it paired with an outfit I bought from Uber by League. It is a long sweater/skirt combo and has a cool leather belt. I, of course, bought the white/gray dress and the necklace and earrings pair so well. I really like the look. Very bohemian, and also very simple and subdued.
My FAVORITE thing at Uber this round is a skirt by CandyDoll. There are lots of different prints, and the skirt is very well fitted. I bought two different prints, an Aztec print (it looks more Moroccan than Aztec to me) and a large floral print. I have this lacy crop top I bought a while back from Chapter Four by Ionic and it pairs perfectly with this skirt by CandyDoll (I am getting really proud of myself more and more for pairing separate pieces together. I used to be horrible at it). I had been planning on buying a skirt/crop top combo from Foxes this round, but unfortunately the top had some fringe (not a lot, but some). It is not very noticeable from afar, so I didn't really notice it in the preview pictures.
Now a bit of a side note: I know I have mentioned this before, but I am not a fan of fringe. I don't know what it is, but to me it just makes an outfit look unfinished most of the time. I do realize a LOT of people like fringe; it is in style, and it is quite bohemian.... However.....I still don't like it. I know I am weird. Fringe just doesn't do it for me. I will admit there are some fringe items I like. And some people look fantastic in fringe... Like my Soul Sister, Kalia, she bought the outfit by Foxes and she looks GREAT in it. She was wearing it at The Woods on my Birth/Rez Day the week before and she looked amazing. She can pull off fringe. I look like a hobo (not even a stylish hobo chic....like the hobo living behind your house in the woods).
The Arcade opened up on Sunday, March 1st and I hate to admit this, but I spent the WHOLE day trying to teleport in...with no success--but this is usual with The Arcade. When I was finally able to get in, I got almost everything I wanted from The Arcade. Not many outfits in this round, more accessories and home items. There is a "Arabian Nights" styled outfit set by Enfant which I feel in love with as soon as I saw the previews. There is a gamer girl outfit set by Birdy Foxes which was cute, and a Wonderland set by Pixicat. The big jewelry items I wanted was by Schadenfreude wee beastie rings and Nylon Outfitters(Yummy) Lucky Cat Necklaces. I was lucky enough to have gotten every thing I wanted from all the vendors, except one..... Of course there is only one. The hairs by Tableau Vivant and Exile are really pretty. Tableau Vivant's is large and not practical for everyday wear...but I like it so much. Exile's hair is very practical, very pretty, and the best part is you get two styles in one pack!
FaMESHed opened as well on Sunday, with way more success in the teleporting department. I was able to get in quick (about the fifth try). I bought Zenith's new Springtime Casual dress in the sailor print because I do love ocean stuff (I am a marine biologist). The sleeves of the dress go to the elbow and are bunched up, giving it a more "Real Life" look/feel. Also there is an outfit set by Lumiere--it is a sheer top and a patterned shorts. Both pieces are separate, so you can pick your combo. It is rather more expensive (it was about $500L together), but it does look really well. For the shirts there are three options, a full shirt, partial for an open jacket (that option goes with longer jackets not cropped) and a closed jacket option (again, also longer jackets). I think the shirt would look great with a cropped jacket, but the string in the back (which also happens to be one of my favorite parts of the shirt) doesn't go with the cropped jackets I have. I need to do some pairing with hair and jackets. Even without a jacket, it looks stunning and simple. Very Springy. I like it.
My post is long...Really long...so I will stop there for now. I hope you all had a wonderful Holi, had a great weekend, and I hope this week is full of fun times and lots of shopping. Much Love~

Rose Tea and Romance
Happy Valentine's Day Tea Readers! This past weekend some events opened--some monthly and some for Valentine's day. I am going to talk about two of the Valentine's events I enjoyed, and then Collabor88.
The two events I went to last weekend were "Love Is In the Air Fair" and "With Love Fair". Now, I didn't get too Linden$ happy with buying a lot of items. I did get jewelry from Maxi Gossamer at both events (she does have a free gift at "With Love Fair" for everyone, you don't need to be a part of the group). At the "With Love Fair" I also bought a ring by Izzie's called "Initial Love Ring". I like how you can change the initials on it and the color of the heart. It's a very simple ring and very pretty. Maxi Gossamer also has a very pretty heart necklace(I enjoy a lot of Maxi's jewelry). I don't really have anything to wear the necklace with at this time; the heart is very large and has a lot of details bursting from it. So the "With Love Fair" for me was more about jewelry than outfits. And come on, who couldn't use more jewelry? Am I right or am I right?
"Love Is In the Air Fair" was a surprise for me. Why you ask... Because Zaara is there!!! She has this vintage looking gown there. The gown itself is very simple, and the bust has a few strips of sequins. It is around 695L$ if I remember correctly, and she has it at a special discounted rate for the fair (so when it goes up in the mainstore it will be more Linden$). I bought the ruby colored one, because with something so simplistic I wanted a deep color to make it stand out more. I am still working on pairing it with accessories, so when I have a finished product I will be sure to post a picture on Facebook, ASN, and on the blog.
Maxi Gossamer has another necklace out at "Love Is In the Air Fair". It reminds me of those Origami Owl necklaces. You know, the ones with the charms inside the pendant. Again, I bought the necklace, but I don't know what to pair with it. I want to pair it with something to make it stand out, so when I have it done, I will be sure to post pictures.
GizzA has a GORGEOUS dress at "Love Is In the Air Fair"! It is very simple; it has a shear overlay, and it is high-low. I love high-low dresses, so this was just the best. I bought the white one (surprise surprise). I have it paired with deep red lipstick, nails polish, and simple rose gold/rose floral heels I won at the Arcade a few rounds back from Enfant Terrible. I am in Love with this dress. I saw the previews for it, and I knew I had to have it. There are lots of other outfits and designers at the fair, and I never had a problem with lag or with teleporting to the event. Both Fairs end towards the end of the month, so you should have plenty of time to teleport over and get some sexy shopping done.
Collabor88 opened on Sunday with the theme "My Love", and teleporting took forever. The first time I teleported in, none of the demos I tried would load properly due to lag(BTW: the Glam Affair skin photos do NOT match the actual skins, at least they didn't when the event opened. You need to try the demos to see what they look like. Hopefully this will have changed by the time I post, but if not, please please please always try the demos). I saw some previews on the Second Life Inventory Facebook page, and I had mixed feelings. The event's colors are more subdued--they are darker than I normally like. There are LOTS of overalls. I am not an overall person...like at all. Foxes has a very pretty dress I bought with a cardigan. Also COCO is there and has an Equestrian Riding jacket. I love horse back riding in Second Life, so this jacket was perfect for me!
At this round of Collabor88, the designers are celebrating "prom", so a lot of the designers had "dates" to this round--Dates meaning co-collaborators. A LOT of the stalls have two creators per stall. It is very cool. My favorite pair is Baiastice and Bauhaus Movement. Baiastice has a nice blouse and dress combo, and the combination of this Violin and floral headpiece by Bauhaus Movement....Just breathtaking. You need to at least check out the display photo at the stall... Breathtaking.
Overall, these events were fun. Everyone should take some time and go check them out. You don't even have to spend that much, there are items there within everyone's budget. Happy Valentine's Day! Much Love, ~Hugs and smooches~
***UPDATE: Love is in the Air Fair last day is February 15th! Please go check out the event before it closes***

FaMESHed for Some Enchantment
Happy Sunday my Tea Readers! This past week has been quite the roller-coaster with my hectic work schedule, Second Life Fashion events going on, and my emotions driving me crazy (maybe it is hormonal, or maybe I need a vacation...I think I am due for a vacation). So let me show you some new outfits and talk to you about some events I went to this past week.
Last Sunday FaMESHed opened and there an outfit by Fishy Strawberry I saw in a preview on the Facebook page Second Life Inventory(it is my go to for previews on events and new items from designers). I saw this bedazzled dress and cardigan combo and I immediately fell. I didn't know it came with a Hud to change the gem colors until I got to FaMESHed. It is very nice to be able to change the gem colors on both the dress and the cardigan--I don't have to worry about necklaces to match. And if I want to have something more subdued or more boisterous I can change the colors to fit. How awesome is that?! Also at FaMESHed, Glam Affair (who usually does skins) has a mesh bangle in a few color options and the bangles match the Fishy Strawberry dress. I bought the blue and pink bangles...still debating about getting the cream one.
Noodles has another bracelet out at FaMESHed this round, and it comes with a Hud to change the initial on it. It is a very simple bracelet. Again, I don't know if it is my luck or not, but when I put on the silver bracelet's Hud, it loaded backwards, and I did not realize this so it took me a while to figure out how to use it. Once I realized it was backwards it was simple to resize and change the initial. I bought the silver and gold bracelets. I was only going to get silver, but I figure sometimes my outfits look better with gold accents--so having a few more gold accessories would not hurt.
Enchantment opened up as well last Sunday. I spent most my morning going from store to store getting my cards stamped for the grand prizes. This round's story is Beauty and the Beast, last time it was Rumpelstiltskin. So this is way up my alley. Roses, jewelry, pretty pretty things. Love it. The hairs for the events by Exile (both the item and the prize) are pretty.
I usually get the dark blondes pack, but I guess Exile has redone their color packages, so there is no more dark blonde option. The blonde pack still has a darker blonde option, but it is not as dark as I would like--I think it is because it has a lot of highlights to give it a more "natural" look; in my opinion, it looks more like salon processed hair than natural hair. It still looks good, and I do like the style, I am just sad to see more and more hair creators getting rid of dark blondes. First Truth got rid of the dark blondes. He did keep a few but he mixed them in with the blonde pack. Lelutka still to my knowledge has dark blondes, so hopefully she will keep having dark blonde packs. I pray she does. I love my dark blonde hair. I am so attached, the shades I often choose are similar my real hair, not quite blonde, not quite brown. I love dark blondes.
CAE have a pretty ring and a necklace for the event (ring is the shop exclusive and the necklace is the prize). The ring is ornate and the necklace is simple. They all come with a texture Hud. Aisling, for their prize, has this pair of GORGEOUS rose earrings, and they match so much of the other rose jewelry for the event. The real reason I wanted the earrings were for a necklace I have from Tea.S. The roses are similar, and even though the colors are a little different, they match. Overall, Enchantment is a must for everyone who loves that beautiful garden feel. There are a few period dresses and lots, and I do mean lots of accessories.
It was funny, I went the the prize area a few times on Sunday, and at one point, one of my friends from ASN was there we started to talk. It was just so awesome to have a random connection to someone from one area, and to see them in another (Second Life is a pretty large area to randomly run into someone). For those who do not know, ASN is Avatar Social Network. It is a social network site strictly for Avatars. I do enjoy being on ASN, very fun and everyone is so friendly and helpful and so positive (at least my experience with ASN has been). I am friends with lots of people on ASN, so when I got to meet one of my ASN friends, at such a random time (she was there taking photos with her daughter, and I was there trying to pick out some prizes) it was such a wonderful thing. We then proceeded to IM, little bits of conversation, but still it was just pleasant how we flowed through conversation. I so enjoy experiences like this--random and fun. We didn't really talk for long periods, but it was on and off throughout the day. It was just nice.
...I just looked at my post and it seems to be rather long, so I will end it here for now. More events have opened, but I will post about those next week. Everyone just keep being awesome.
