Happy Sunday everyone! I hope this past week has been good to everyone. We had elections here in the US; I will admit I was very disheartened on Wednesday when I woke up to find the woman I voted for did not win. I shall try to remain upbeat, and we shall see what happens from here on out. Please be kind to others Tea Readers. And BE SAFE. On with this week's post.
Since part of this week was upsetting for me, I decided some retail therapy was needed. Good thing Collabor88 opened on Tuesday! I was very happy about Zaara's new release at Collabor88 this month. It is a silks outfit, and I just LOVE it. The harem pants are sheer, but not so sheer it defeats the purpose of a pant. I adore the work of the top, with the chains dangling off to the side--it adds a bit of delicateness to such a sensual outfit. And of course I had to purchase the fatpack when I saw it. The color packs offered separately come with silver and gold options for the metals. And there is also a separate belt for purchase which comes with gold, silver, dark gold, and dark silver. LOTS of options and combinations for these. The fatpack is 4,888L$ which is a lot but for such a detailed and varied outfit, for me it is well worth the cost. I can see myself wearing these for a long time and pairing all the different colors together.
I liked a few of the other items offered by the creators, but as you know the Zaara release was my favorite. I highly doubt there will be something Zaara Kohime creates which I will not like. Foxes has a lovely dress I thought was perfect for clubbing or just being sexy. Also The Secret Store has a fun Bodysuit which reminding me burlesque shows! Fun purchases for sure!!!
This is where I leave you, Tea Readers. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe week. Don't let others bring you down. You are a bright star and deserve to shine!!! Check out Collabor88 whenever you get the chance. See all the pretty items from the other content creators, and try the Zaara demo. It will be well worth the try. Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers.

Trick or Tea?
Happy Sunday Tea Readers! I hope everyone has had an awesome week. I know this week has gone by super fast for me. Work has been good, my family is doing well, and in Second Life the Epiphany Gacha opened on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
There were three gachas I had to play at Epiphany. I really liked the Foxes gacha, which had these cute skelecat familiars. There are some nice corsets and dresses in the gacha, as well as other spooky familiars--but for me those skelecat familiars were the cutest. I also like the Fawny gacha rare of this cool bodysuit dress with a sheer skirt. I am really liking this sheer skirt fad. There is also a cute three-eyed cat holdable pet.
Jian also has these cute Inu-Shiba pets. The rares are dressed up in costumes, the commons range from regular dogs to trick-or-treaters. They also go from companions to wandering pets. I was lucky and got the rare Prince Doggo. He is so adorable!
With the Epiphany, you can trade in your extras for Epiphany points and then you can use the points to "buy" exclusive items you can only get for this round. Once the round is over, the exclusive items are gone forever. The only exclusive item I really wanted was the Day of the Dead applier for the Catwa mesh heads by Glam Affair. And Tea Readers, you know I love Day of the Dead!!! I have my applier paired with the Blueberry gacha items, which is a sexy witch outfit (also available at Epiphany).
When Epiphany opened last week, it was really crowded, and I do know they were having some issues with lag. It should be better now, but below I am including the off-sim shopping landmark in case the main sim is full. I hope everyone has fun shopping, and remember to plan ahead. Check out the Epiphany Guide on their website, and look at Seraphim. Happy Shopping! Hugs and Smooches~

Let's Brew a Floral Blend
Happy Sunday everyone. This past week has been very emotionally rough for me, and I kept debating whether or not to do a post. But working on my blog posts have always been therapeutic for me, as well as putting outfits together. So let's get this week's post started.
Uber opened last week and the theme this month is Country Spring. Let me just say....it isn't very country at all. Lots of leather jackets, bikinis, and cute shorts, yet not much "country". I absolutely adore the new hair by Truth, it reminds me of Maui for some reason. I think it is due to the flower add-on...even though the flower is a daisy and not a plumeria. Moon Hair also has a really cute fat braid with daisy add-ons as well. Adds a bit of youthfulness and innocence to an otherwise simple hairstyle.
Vinyl and Azuchi has collaborated to create this really cool leather jacket and shirt combo. You buy the pieces separately, and you can then mix and match. I bought the brown leather jacket along with the Off Duty Mermaid tank--kinda badass, yet fun...a fun badass? If it wasn't a thing before, it is now. Foxes also has these AMAZING leather jackets with fun designs on the back and some of them have the designs on the sleeves. I bought two of the jackets, one with an elephant, and then the simple white leather jacket with just the bronze detailing. Very fun, and adds a bit of a bohemian edge to something normally rebellious.
Tres Blah has a cute tank and skirt combo out. Again you buy your pieces separately so you can mix and match as you would like. I think this outfit was perfect, and it actually follows the theme for this month. Very fun, very freeing, and very simple.
A few people have released bikinis and lingerie for this event. I liked the Blueberry's best. I bought two pairs, the red and then the pink floral. Each bikini comes with a cute little floatie you can wear and just chill on or you can use the hud provided with it to bump and follow your friends (your friends would have to be wearing a floatie as well). Reign and Just Because helped take part in the floatie fun and both of their floaties you can purchase separately at the Blueberry booth. I bought the Just Because black cat, because secretly I am a crazy cat lady.
Not much else to report. Pure Poison has two cute shoes out which are completely customizable via the texture hud. Reign also has come cool boots, I could never call them country because the metal boot jewelry attached makes it look way more biker-chick than anything. Still lots of awesome stuff from the grids creators this month. Check it out whenever you get the chance. Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers~

Sunshine and Good Times
Happy Sunday everyone! What a beautiful week and weekend. The sun has been shining, the temperature is finally warm, and my windows are open! Let's have some tea and talk a little about the Epiphany Gacha before I leave to spend another day outside.
The Epiphany Gacha is a quarterly event, and is a gacha lover's dream. I have written about it before in an earlier post, but for a refresher course on how the event works: you play the gachas you want, and you can redeem your extras and any unwanted items in for points. When you get 25 points you can get an exclusive item from one of the creators. The awesome thing is up to 100 points each round carries over to the next. So if you don't use them all one round you can use them next without having to play more gachas. This round was fun because there were only a few items, gachas and exclusives, I was interested in getting. Luckily I got them all, and I ended up having way more points than normal. So I got a few more exclusives than I was planning, all good things, all good things...
The big items I was playing for were by Truth and Jian. I really wanted all three hairstyles Truth Hawks released for the event. They are braided hair styles and I think they look pretty Badass. Jian also has these really cute shiba puppy companions. You can play for a hold-able pet, a roaming pet, and a following pet. I think there are a few decor ones as well. I was lucky and got the hold-able, roaming, and follower in my first, and only, three plays. Foxes has an exclusive item which is a pitbull companion. I love my little buddy. I think he is just adorable.
The one exclusive I really wanted was by Moon Elixir. Moon Elixir has some cool athletic pieces. I wasn't a fan of the underwear like bottoms or the robe-dress thing. I was really interested in the Chakra Sports-Bra. the textures are wonderful and the Om clasp in the back is so cool! I really like it. I have the outfit paired with a cosmic tattoo and some sporty leggings by Erratic. I think it gives me a boxer/fighter look. Again...Bad Ass.
That's it for this week. Please take some time to check out Epiphany Gacha. The event ends on May 5th, so there is still plenty of time to drop some Linden and win some prizes! Enjoy your day out in the Sun my Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches~

Rose Tea for a Romantic Valentine's Day
HAPPY Valentine's Day! I am sorry I haven't posted the past two weeks. Life has been super hectic.. I haven't had much to post on anyway, due to the new events for the month being so-so in my opinion. FaMESHed didn't have much I was liking, nor Uber. But Collabor88 opened last Monday-and I went a bit crazy.
Collabor88's theme is Espionage, so lots of spy items and sexy Bond Girl/Secret Agent attire. It is also Collabor88's prom (the designers/creators have asked other creators to be their dates)So there is almost twice as many items! Let me just gush about some of my favorites...
Zaara of course is my favorite. She has a new gown released for the event. It is more expensive..ish... 588L for the event. And it is so worth every penny. The gown is made specifically for the Maitreya Lara mesh body, and it comes in fun colors. I like the cut in the bust. The cleavage goes down to the naval, and the cut gives it a bit of a more modern edge, but not too drastic. It really is a classy gown.
The Secret Store has a fun shirt/skirt combo out for the event. And it reminds me of Miss Moneypenny from the Bond movies. Not really a sexy outfit, but very sophisticated and simple. Still attractive. I bought the kiss patterned blouse and the red skirt, because Valentine's Day is.....right now. When I was putting the outfit together, I wanted to keep it simple, so I have it paired with a simple rose necklace by CAE in gold with some rose earrings. As I was putting the outfit together I wanted to add one small "flair" piece to it...so I added a familiar/pet by Alchemy which is out right now at The Fantasy Gacha. The Hell Pupper is so cute and even though Cerberus is supposed to be vicious, this little puppy is too cute--it will just melt your heart.
Foxes has a fun dress out with a sort of binding at the neck and bust. There is a leather jacket as well at the event which pairs well with the dress. The outfit reminds me of a spy doing a sort of wardrobe change/strip while in the middle of a mission. Amala even has a cool spy headset which helps bring the look together. This whole outfit (minus the Amala headset) is made exclusively for mesh bodies. Make sure you try the demo before you buy.
Erratic has a very sexy bikini out this round which just looks like it came straight from a beach scene in a James Bond movie. It is just perfect! I had such a hard time picking out a color, because I wanted all of them. The detail is perfect. AND it comes with these cool cuffs so the bikini looks more....Badass. There is also a medal change hud for the belt buckle and the cuffs on the bikini. The bikini is made exclusively for Maitreya Lara mesh body.
There are other really cool items at the event, Oleander has a hair out which is very neat. I am a sucker for curly hair and braids. While the hairstyle isn't curly, it does have a braid in the ponytail. There are also cute headbands and some lace masks. Olive hair was invited, and the hairstyles (both for men and women) have fedoras. I did not demo the hair to see if the hair comes with a fedoraless option...I am not a big fedora person. There are some sexy short dresses and lots of heels and boots. There are even a few items for men (few, not a lot). I think you should go check it out and see what the creators and their dates have done for the world of Espionage~
I hope all my Tea Readers have a wonderful Valentine's Day! I hope you enjoy the day with your loved ones, and if you don't have a significant other I hope you spoil yourself to something wonderful! You deserve it! Hugs and Smooches~~

After a Workout Have Green or Black Tea
Happy Friday! I am posting this week's post early, because I will be out of town this weekend running in a marathon, and I won't be home until late Sunday evening. Wish me luck everyone!
The Arcade opened at the beginning of the month, and I was lucky enough to get to the event in a relatively decent time. And on top of the luck of getting in rather quickly, I was also lucky in all the gachas I played! I was able to get every item I wanted without going broke!!! How often does that happen?! My favorite gacha this round doesn't have anything to do with fashion, but all to do with foxes. The Secret Store has a gacha with all these cute fox friends. They come in two different colors, White, and the rares are holdable pets! I love them! I have both colors of the rares, and I can't pick a favorite. Fawny has a pretty sweater gacha that comes with reindeer decor and attachable pets as well. Moon Amore has a really pretty dress out for the event and the shoes in the gacha are really cool--they have Christmas trees on the back of the heel, very flirty and fun.
Collabor88 opened on Tuesday and again, like with a lot of Collabor88 rounds....I almost went broke. All the Linden$ I saved from being lucky at the Arcade went to this round. Nordic Winter is the theme, and there are lots of sweater, fun hairs and scarves and hats. Zaara is at this round!!! And she has an updated mesh version of her pashmina scarves. I bought two so far.... so far.... Don't be surprised if you see me there again buying more... I maybe should of bought the fatpack...but we will wait and see.... The scarves textures have been hand painted by Zaara Kohime and are so gorgeous. They are worth the Linden (288L$), even if you only buy one.
Pixicat has a fun coat available at the event, and it looks to me like a Navy Peacoat. The coat is called Stockholm--it comes with a sweater and an optional dress add on for it. I prefer the sweater so far. I detoured from my normal color choices and chose to purchase the gray coat. I love the coat paired with the scarf from Zaara. The scarf splashes color into the outfit, and to me it brings it to life.
There are two dresses I bought at the event, one by ISON and the other by Foxes. Both are more cocktail appropriate, but depending on how you pair it, you could make it more casual. The Foxes dress is a sweater dress which has an opened deep cut back. It comes with a long necklace for the back--very simple and elegant in my opinion. The only issue I can see people having with this dress... It is made to fit Mesh Bodies. If you do not own a Maitreya, SLink, or Bellza Mesh body, this dress will not work for you. It does NOT come in standard sizes for the default avatar. It also does not come with an alpha (since the mesh bodies come with an alpha hud).So buyer beware. Again, ALWAYS TRY DEMOS!
The ISON dress is default avatar and mesh body compatible. AND!!! You can buy the sweater also sold at the event, and wear the sweater with the dress. I ADORE this dress. It reminds me of a dress Emmy Rossum wore in her music video for "Slow Me Down". I love this dress. I like the sweater option, I really do...but this dress...... I love it. It is probably my new favorite. I won't lie.
I will stop there for tonight. I don't want to overwhelm too much. I would recommend checking out The Secret Store's sweater and pant, also Moon Amore has a fun sweater as well at Collabor88 worth looking at. Lots of Hairs and fun skins as well at this round. Go check it out whenever you have the time and the spare Linden$. Hugs and Smooches Tea Readers!!!!

Orange, Cocoa, and Masala Chai for a Spooky Blend
Happy Sunday! I hope this past week has been amazing for all. I know for me it has been super busy, and the rest of this year is just getting busier and busier for me. I don't think I have any really "free" weekends until December.
Collabor88 opened last week and the theme is Burtonesque. It reminds me of Tim Burton with the swirls and a bit of the creepy--Perfect for Halloween time! I have fallen in love with Glam Affair's sugar skull appliers for the Lelutka Mesh Heads. Unfortunately I do not have a mesh head yet, so the appliers won't work. Really disappointing.
There are only a few things I purchased this round, and The Secret Store's sweater is probably my favorite. It comes with a hud to change the textures of the shirt underneath and I just love how comfy and posh the sweater looks.
Tres Blah also has a fun outfit in what looks like leather. I LOVE the skirt. The skirt is very professional looking, but has a fun twist with it being leather. Also Birdy Foxes has a cool dress and leather jacket available. They both come with a hud to help change the alphas built into the dress so you can wear the jacket with it or any other jacket you own. Very COOL!!!!
I hope you all enjoy your week and I hope you are all planning out your costumes for Halloween! I think this year I will go as Jack the Ripper. FUN TIMES for sure! Huggles my Tea Readers~

Earl Grey for the Muted Coven
Happy Sunday! I hope this week has been another amazing week for everyone. I was glad to have Monday off from work due to Labor Day, and I have been so ready for the weekend. I think it is time for a long vacation. Especially since kids are back in school now.
Collabor88 opened on Tuesday with the theme Muted Coven. I took the theme to mean understated/subtle witchcraft. While most of the colors are dark, they are not "Bold" dark--to me everything looks to have some sort of grey shade. Still a few other color options available (I bought a few white and blue pieces).
There were a few outfits I fell in LOVE with, like immediately just had to have. ISON has this dress/overcoat outfit where there is an option for a moving coat. The dress has a look of sophistication and the coat gives the dress some flare. But the moving tailcoat option is like...the best thing ever. Here is a short video of it moving; it is really fast in the main picture shown, but a small way down there is another video with the actual movement speed. I bought the midnight blue color because the moving of the coat made me think of ocean waves...but I had to go back for the white set as well. Love this outfit! I also bough a lace outfit by Pixicat. I am a sucker for lacy, so when I saw this skirt with the lace overlay. The top is cute as well, kinda like a bralette.
I also fell for a dress by MBirdie. Very tight fitted, and the triangle cutout in the breast area adds so much. I saw the ad for the dress and I did a bad thing, I bought without trying the demo. BUT it worked out and the dress fits perfectly. I have a few MBirdie pieces which require lots of editing of my shape in order to fit properly, but this dress fits so well. And while I was putting the outfit together I had to teleport back to the event (after it taking me an hour to get there...and the lag was HORRIBLE) and purchase a coat/cloak from Schandenfreude. I decided the whole ensemble reminds me of a Hogwarts professor. AND the dress looks good with the ISON overcoat as well! Big plus.
Foxy also as a cute dress and hat outfit. Makes witchcraft look more modern and updated. And the hat fits with the Exile hairs at the event pretty well. Only minor adjustments to make them fit. On a bit of a side note...I hate editing hats. I love fancy hats, but editing always kills me. I make the hat too small, too lopsided, not enough tilt, not the same size. I am just horrible. All I had to do with this hat was move a small bit and do a small little rotation. Then Viola! Perfect look.
Enough of my crazy shopping addiction for now. I hope you get a chance to take a look at Collabor88 this month; its a wonderful round. Enjoy the rest of your week. Don't forget to take some time for yourself. Have a cuppa and stay safe!

Lavender Tea for Pleasant Daydreams
Happy Sunday Tea Readers! I hope this week has been awesome for all, and your weekend has been a long joyful one. I only have today off, then back to the crazy work week tomorrow. Time sure does fly when you are having fun... or working.
Collabor88's Fourth Birthday is this month, and for the birthday round the theme is.... DREAMER! Lots of light colors, and very whimsical designs. I tried to be more responsible with my linden, as I have been trying to do lately while out shopping, and as usual Collabor88 just brings out the shopaholic in me. I think we all consider ourselves dreamers. I know I am a HUGE dreamer; whether it be fanciful or practical my mind never ceases to wander at certain moments. And who doesn't like a good daydream?
First, my FAVORITE item at the event is by Pixicat. The dress is a cute poof of a dress, and there are lots of color options available. My favorite (I am guessing it is everyone's favorite, because I have seen LOTS of people wearing these prints) are her animated cosmic and sky prints. Oh. My. Goodness. So mesmerizing. The cloud print--you guessed it--has clouds all over it. The sheer overlay is animated so there are clouds floating "around" on the skirt. Now it isn't like a cloud add-on. It is an actual print... And I know my pictures don't do it justice, but just look at this plurk! The video is of the cosmic print, and I just love both dresses. Both animated prints are 288L$ instead of 188L$ for the regular colors, but are so worth it. I can not say enough about these dresses. AND the dresses are mesh body compatible. AWESOMESAUCE~
ISON has a really pretty formal gown at Collabor88, called the Orchid Gown. Very pretty, and again, very formal. It would make a nice dress for a wedding, a ball, or hell to go shopping in. I don't judge (I have been known to go grocery shopping in cocktail attire just for a bit of a pick me up). I like the orchids on the bodice of the dress--it adds a fanciful feel to the gown. It comes in a few solid colors and a few ombre colors. I bought the blue ombre, and it goes so well with one of the new hairs by Truth. I just really liked putting this dress together.
There are some other items I felt compelled to purchase due to the wow factor and the price was oh so right. D!va has partnered with Bauhaus Movement on two hairs. Bauhaus movement did this cute antler/floral headband (which using the included hud you can resize and turn on/off). I bought "Ride with the Sun" because.....of reasons. Also Foxes (Birdy Foxes) has some cute lingerie items. I bought the bra-panty set and nightie of the cosmic print because of my cosmic feels for the event. Also Junbug has an evening gown which to me seems very Modern Fae. It appears to almost be a mermaid cut and then the bottom of the dress just spreads out and appears to be a fluffy cloud. Really cute. Tres Blah also has a cute styled dress. Well, there are two styles of dress for Tres Blah at the event; I only bought the turtle-neck flower collared dress. There is another dress which reminds me of a school girl....and I didn't like it. For some reason it reminded me of a peppy Wednesday from the Adam's Family. Maxi Gossamer has a gorgeous, and I do mean GORGEOUS, necklace at the event and it is a dream orb. It comes in two different tones, and the two tones come in two different lengths! You can color change the orb to match whatever outfit you have on or add it to an outfit which has been missing a little "umph" as my dad used to say. I thought the necklaces when great with the Pixicat dresses.
The layout of Collabor88 is the same...but different--it looks really dreamy. I recommend looking up at the sky! Very magical. It is the same structure as last year's birthday round, and double the designers/creators of a normal round. Lots and LOTS of guest designers. Only two stalls have gifts out for the event. Milk Motion and Moon Amore. Milk Motion's is just a mesh belt to go with their outfit. Moon Amore's gift are a bunch a bunch of balloon's with butterflies in them! It matches their dress and it can be worn on with something else. Super cute.
Well, I think I may have overloaded everyone with the awesomeness that is Collabor88 this month. Please go check it out. It should be much easier to get into now since it has been open for over a week. Much love! Hugs and Smooches my Tea Readers~

Mermaids Must Have a Kelp-y Brew
Happy Sunday my Tea Readers! This past week has been crazy busy again for me. On a positive note, I didn't work yesterday. I like working on Saturdays because it is quiet and I get a lot of work done. However, it stinks having only a day off ,then going back to work on Monday. Good news, I still have done a lot this past week, including getting this week's post done.~
Okay, this summer's theme is appearing to be mermaids, because mermaids is the theme for Collabor88, Season's Story's backdrop is some mermaid ruins, and later this summer Enchantment will start and the story theme is The Little Mermaid. So yea, this summer is very "under the sea". As a marine biologist I adore the sea and all sea-life. If I could have one wish it would be to become a mermaid. I just love the idea of swimming around all day, looking at all the life under the water and playing with fish and cetaceans, even some of the perils of underwater life don't really phase me. I think I would make an awesome mermaid.
When I saw the theme for Collabor88 last month was chosen for "Under the Sea", I was immediately excited(like when they picked the "Into the Light" and "OMG! Unicorns"). Lots of light blues and purples for this event, and LOTS and LOTS of mermaid stuff--from sea shells to fish scales! I bought the blue ombre tank top by ISON with matching silver fish scale leggings--it is one of the more conservative looks from the event. Baiastice has a really pretty evening gown at the event, and a cute shell bra which is compatible with the dress. Foxes has two dress at the event and I had to be different and buy the blue/purple dress because it just looks so good! My favorite dress buy from the event has to be by Fashionably Dead. This blue dress is a high-lo and has "scales". When I went to the Hair Fair last Saturday evening this tentacled hair by Ohmai looks perfect with it(at least to me it does).
The Hair Fair is an annual event which doubles as a fundraiser for "Wigs for Kids". Each vendor has a certain percentage of their profits going towards the "Wigs for Kids" charity. The event opened last Saturday, and this year I went to the event so prepared! I don't think I have EVER planned out my shopping this intense before. I did all my normal research, Strawberry Singh was kind enough in one of her blog posts to link the Eloquence Blog which has pictures, prices, and locations for each vendor. So what did I do Saturday morning when I had a break at work? I looked at the hairs, and wrote the vendors and the locations for all the hairs I wanted. When I eventually logged on to Second Life in the evening I teleported into the Blonde Sim, and did area searches for all the hairs on my "Blonde" list. I did the same for Brunette, Redhead, and Noirette. I didn't teleport to the other sims, I tried to walk or fly into the other sims. Thanks to whoever made the decision to allow fly! It helped with getting around and fighting lag. I was vastly surprised when I only spend about an hour (maybe a bit longer, but definitely not an hour and a half) getting into the event and doing all my shopping. Last year when I went I was at the Hair Fair for 2+ hours, which lead me to prepare and plan everything.
Season's Story opened last Friday, and I didn't get as buy crazy as I did at the other events. The sim is gorgeous, it all looks like mermaid ruins, and who doesn't like to shop and fun places? I spent a bit of linden "playing" the Zenith gacha. I really wanted a bodysuit/swimsuit which is the rare item. I also played another gacha by SWaGGa for some flippers. I recently bought a wet suit by Meli Imako and the flippers match so well!! Now I can go snorkeling and adventuring underwater in Second Life while not being a mermaid... Who am I kidding, I will still be a mermaid~ I didn't really buy much else at Season's Story. I think after this past weekend I am all shopped out.
Long post for today. There are lots of other great items at Season's Story, but nothing really big that I felt I needed to share. I will be sure to put more items and such from these events in upcoming posts. Happy Sunday everyone! Enjoy your cuppa and the rest of your weekend.

Masala Chai and a Bohemian Blend
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Holi and a great weekend. I always feel like the weekends go by way too fast. But lately I feel like the work week has had a good steady pace, too. Just a small FYI, I may be posting the next few Sundays late or early (I don't know which yet)--I will be going on vacation to recharge my batteries. I am going to try to convince Earth to do some guest blogging while I am gone.
Uber opened on the 24th (or was it the 25th.... I can't even remember) and the new theme is Bohemian. Let me just say, wow. First, I really like the hair by Truth Hawks this round (I normally do...); it is a large braid, and looks more like a twisted curl, in the back with options for flowers or butterflies to add in front and back. I can see myself wearing this hair a lot. I adore braids. Nylon Outfitters has a few items again at the event. I wasn't so interested in the clothes, I was really into the jewelry. I really like the turquoise and silver earrings and necklace. The necklace has got strands of turquoise layered on top of each other, and it is rather large, but not obnoxiously so. Currently I have it paired with an outfit I bought from Uber by League. It is a long sweater/skirt combo and has a cool leather belt. I, of course, bought the white/gray dress and the necklace and earrings pair so well. I really like the look. Very bohemian, and also very simple and subdued.
My FAVORITE thing at Uber this round is a skirt by CandyDoll. There are lots of different prints, and the skirt is very well fitted. I bought two different prints, an Aztec print (it looks more Moroccan than Aztec to me) and a large floral print. I have this lacy crop top I bought a while back from Chapter Four by Ionic and it pairs perfectly with this skirt by CandyDoll (I am getting really proud of myself more and more for pairing separate pieces together. I used to be horrible at it). I had been planning on buying a skirt/crop top combo from Foxes this round, but unfortunately the top had some fringe (not a lot, but some). It is not very noticeable from afar, so I didn't really notice it in the preview pictures.
Now a bit of a side note: I know I have mentioned this before, but I am not a fan of fringe. I don't know what it is, but to me it just makes an outfit look unfinished most of the time. I do realize a LOT of people like fringe; it is in style, and it is quite bohemian.... However.....I still don't like it. I know I am weird. Fringe just doesn't do it for me. I will admit there are some fringe items I like. And some people look fantastic in fringe... Like my Soul Sister, Kalia, she bought the outfit by Foxes and she looks GREAT in it. She was wearing it at The Woods on my Birth/Rez Day the week before and she looked amazing. She can pull off fringe. I look like a hobo (not even a stylish hobo chic....like the hobo living behind your house in the woods).
The Arcade opened up on Sunday, March 1st and I hate to admit this, but I spent the WHOLE day trying to teleport in...with no success--but this is usual with The Arcade. When I was finally able to get in, I got almost everything I wanted from The Arcade. Not many outfits in this round, more accessories and home items. There is a "Arabian Nights" styled outfit set by Enfant which I feel in love with as soon as I saw the previews. There is a gamer girl outfit set by Birdy Foxes which was cute, and a Wonderland set by Pixicat. The big jewelry items I wanted was by Schadenfreude wee beastie rings and Nylon Outfitters(Yummy) Lucky Cat Necklaces. I was lucky enough to have gotten every thing I wanted from all the vendors, except one..... Of course there is only one. The hairs by Tableau Vivant and Exile are really pretty. Tableau Vivant's is large and not practical for everyday wear...but I like it so much. Exile's hair is very practical, very pretty, and the best part is you get two styles in one pack!
FaMESHed opened as well on Sunday, with way more success in the teleporting department. I was able to get in quick (about the fifth try). I bought Zenith's new Springtime Casual dress in the sailor print because I do love ocean stuff (I am a marine biologist). The sleeves of the dress go to the elbow and are bunched up, giving it a more "Real Life" look/feel. Also there is an outfit set by Lumiere--it is a sheer top and a patterned shorts. Both pieces are separate, so you can pick your combo. It is rather more expensive (it was about $500L together), but it does look really well. For the shirts there are three options, a full shirt, partial for an open jacket (that option goes with longer jackets not cropped) and a closed jacket option (again, also longer jackets). I think the shirt would look great with a cropped jacket, but the string in the back (which also happens to be one of my favorite parts of the shirt) doesn't go with the cropped jackets I have. I need to do some pairing with hair and jackets. Even without a jacket, it looks stunning and simple. Very Springy. I like it.
My post is long...Really long...so I will stop there for now. I hope you all had a wonderful Holi, had a great weekend, and I hope this week is full of fun times and lots of shopping. Much Love~

Much Love~

Rose Tea and Romance
Happy Valentine's Day Tea Readers! This past weekend some events opened--some monthly and some for Valentine's day. I am going to talk about two of the Valentine's events I enjoyed, and then Collabor88.
The two events I went to last weekend were "Love Is In the Air Fair" and "With Love Fair". Now, I didn't get too Linden$ happy with buying a lot of items. I did get jewelry from Maxi Gossamer at both events (she does have a free gift at "With Love Fair" for everyone, you don't need to be a part of the group). At the "With Love Fair" I also bought a ring by Izzie's called "Initial Love Ring". I like how you can change the initials on it and the color of the heart. It's a very simple ring and very pretty. Maxi Gossamer also has a very pretty heart necklace(I enjoy a lot of Maxi's jewelry). I don't really have anything to wear the necklace with at this time; the heart is very large and has a lot of details bursting from it. So the "With Love Fair" for me was more about jewelry than outfits. And come on, who couldn't use more jewelry? Am I right or am I right?
"Love Is In the Air Fair" was a surprise for me. Why you ask... Because Zaara is there!!! She has this vintage looking gown there. The gown itself is very simple, and the bust has a few strips of sequins. It is around 695L$ if I remember correctly, and she has it at a special discounted rate for the fair (so when it goes up in the mainstore it will be more Linden$). I bought the ruby colored one, because with something so simplistic I wanted a deep color to make it stand out more. I am still working on pairing it with accessories, so when I have a finished product I will be sure to post a picture on Facebook, ASN, and on the blog.
Maxi Gossamer has another necklace out at "Love Is In the Air Fair". It reminds me of those Origami Owl necklaces. You know, the ones with the charms inside the pendant. Again, I bought the necklace, but I don't know what to pair with it. I want to pair it with something to make it stand out, so when I have it done, I will be sure to post pictures.
GizzA has a GORGEOUS dress at "Love Is In the Air Fair"! It is very simple; it has a shear overlay, and it is high-low. I love high-low dresses, so this was just the best. I bought the white one (surprise surprise). I have it paired with deep red lipstick, nails polish, and simple rose gold/rose floral heels I won at the Arcade a few rounds back from Enfant Terrible. I am in Love with this dress. I saw the previews for it, and I knew I had to have it. There are lots of other outfits and designers at the fair, and I never had a problem with lag or with teleporting to the event. Both Fairs end towards the end of the month, so you should have plenty of time to teleport over and get some sexy shopping done.
Collabor88 opened on Sunday with the theme "My Love", and teleporting took forever. The first time I teleported in, none of the demos I tried would load properly due to lag(BTW: the Glam Affair skin photos do NOT match the actual skins, at least they didn't when the event opened. You need to try the demos to see what they look like. Hopefully this will have changed by the time I post, but if not, please please please always try the demos). I saw some previews on the Second Life Inventory Facebook page, and I had mixed feelings. The event's colors are more subdued--they are darker than I normally like. There are LOTS of overalls. I am not an overall person...like at all. Foxes has a very pretty dress I bought with a cardigan. Also COCO is there and has an Equestrian Riding jacket. I love horse back riding in Second Life, so this jacket was perfect for me!
At this round of Collabor88, the designers are celebrating "prom", so a lot of the designers had "dates" to this round--Dates meaning co-collaborators. A LOT of the stalls have two creators per stall. It is very cool. My favorite pair is Baiastice and Bauhaus Movement. Baiastice has a nice blouse and dress combo, and the combination of this Violin and floral headpiece by Bauhaus Movement....Just breathtaking. You need to at least check out the display photo at the stall... Breathtaking.
Overall, these events were fun. Everyone should take some time and go check them out. You don't even have to spend that much, there are items there within everyone's budget. Happy Valentine's Day! Much Love, ~Hugs and smooches~
***UPDATE: Love is in the Air Fair last day is February 15th! Please go check out the event before it closes***

How About a Celestial Blend?
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone has been safe and warm this past week, what with blizzards, chills, and just overall crazy weather...At least here in the United States. I know some of you are overseas, and I want you all to stay safe and warm, too! Go now; steep some breakfast blend and stay awhile.
Uber opened last Sunday, and as most of you know, the theme this month Celestial. Not really so much with the Sunday Tea theme, BUT I am a huge Star Trek fan, and an overall nerd, so this theme was very fun for me. I ended up spending more than I originally thought, and bought some outfits I don't normally wear for myself. When I think of Celestial, I think of space and time, of heaven, of stars, and, funny enough, Metaphysics. Don't ask why, it just does for some reason. My mind is a jumbled mess of crazy.
I bought two jumpsuits by Foxes, one in off-white and the other is a galaxy/star print. I don't normally wear jumpsuits, but when I was looking at the suits I just had to buy one, and then after a mishap with delivery (my fault, I have a click happy hand) I bought another. Now, I bought the suit that has the sleeves, and has a deep V-cut...so quite a bit of cleavage, but as always with 99% of what I wear, it still tasteful. I paired it with jewelry by Yummy which is also at the event. The necklaces you can layer, and I also put on the short sun pendant by Schadenfreude which was available at Collabor88 last November for the Modern Alchemist round. The hair by Truth for this round is also a must have--a curly side pony with a braid and optional star berets.
Zenith has a sweater out which reminded me a bit of Star Trek: Into Darkness(there is a unisex jacket there by David Heather which reminded me exactly of Khan's coat from the beginning. I didn't buy it, but I do know someone who I am going to make buy it because he would look so dapper and just awesome in it). The sweater is kind-of-almost off the shoulder, and the end of the sleeves have a hud you can color change. There are some necklaces there to pair with it (and Maxi Gossamer has a cleaner cut necklace of a very similar style) but I did not purchase those. I have it paired with some leather leggings by Plastik called Shine. I bought them a long time ago, and the combo of the leather leggings and this sweater..well, I think it is perfect, but you can tell me if I am wrong.
