Let's have a Rainbow Tea Party on the Holodeck~

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope this week has been relaxing for everyone--for me it has been filled with work and crazy weather and lots of stress. I think it is time to start planning a vacation! Despite it being a hectic work week, I was able to log on and chat with friends for a bit and managed to get this week's post done. Let's talk about Collabor88...

This month's theme is Holographic, and the color palette is very lovely. Lots of pale soft colors, which I LOVE, and some of the items have a sort of rainbow effect. Me being the lovely eloquent lady with words I refer to it as an oil slick effect. Lots of colors blended together. I didn't buy a lot at the event, but I did flip out when I saw Zaara was back again with some GORGEOUS earrings. They are feather earrings, and there are two types, one with long feathers and one with short feathers as an earcuff. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I bought the Azure earrings and the Peacock earcuffs because I like peacocks. I know I am going to get more of the feather earrings, they are just so pretty. The earrings come in rigged versions for a few mesh heads and the Lelutka mesh head version also fits the default body okay. There is also an unrigged version, but I like the rigged one since the earrings are so long. They really are a focal piece for any outfit. I only have one issue with the earcuffs--it is hard to pair with hair. I have a few short styles and a few updos... all the them are too "big" on the sides. I will admit I need to resize and move them around a bit to try to get them to work. But with my crazy schedule, I haven't really had the time to do that with them.

Blueberry has a fun tank and short set out with the tank top in that oil slick texture. I know the texture isn't called oil slick, but it looks like it to me, and I personally like it. Also, Pixicat has a fun shirt and skirt combo out which is fun and flirty (it is also named Flirty, so it's really just perfect). I have the the rainbow skirt and the simple white top. It looks really flirty and fun. I really like it.

White Tea to Soothe the Soul

Happy Sunday everyone! It has been a long and stressful week for me crazy work issues. I had some crazy hours at work and I hardly logged on during the week. I was able to log on long enough to get some pictures and this post done! I hope you enjoy.

FaMESHed opened New Year's Day, and it took me FOREVER to teleport in! And what drove me crazy was one of my friends and my sister were able to teleport in relatively easy....at least easier than me. There is only one thing I wanted from FaMESHed--a gown by Just Because called Maya. The gown is very elegant, yet provocative at the same time. There is a deep cut in the cleavage (like really deep...like goes down to the belly button), and there is a long slit on the thigh. The broach comes with a color change hud. It took me a while to style the Maya, and the necklace I choose to pair with the dress is by Maxi Gossamer. The necklace has a long gorgeous back, so it doesn't distract in the front of the gown.

There are also come cute boots which are compatible with jeans by Reign at this round, and there is also a cute dress by NYU. I like both the boots and the dress paired together. I didn't photograph them for two reasons: (1) my favorite item is Maya, and (2) I did not have enough time to take another picture.

Earth and I are both wearing our favorite cocktail outfits from 2015 to help say goodbye to such a wonderful year. It was a hard time for me to pick my favorite, and there are so many favorites of mine. But Pixicat's dress is one of the most creative I have seen for the year.
