Happy Sunday everyone! I hope everyone has been safe and warm this past week, what with blizzards, chills, and just overall crazy weather...At least here in the United States. I know some of you are overseas, and I want you all to stay safe and warm, too! Go now; steep some breakfast blend and stay awhile.
Uber opened last Sunday, and as most of you know, the theme this month Celestial. Not really so much with the Sunday Tea theme, BUT I am a huge Star Trek fan, and an overall nerd, so this theme was very fun for me. I ended up spending more than I originally thought, and bought some outfits I don't normally wear for myself. When I think of Celestial, I think of space and time, of heaven, of stars, and, funny enough, Metaphysics. Don't ask why, it just does for some reason. My mind is a jumbled mess of crazy.
I bought two jumpsuits by Foxes, one in off-white and the other is a galaxy/star print. I don't normally wear jumpsuits, but when I was looking at the suits I just had to buy one, and then after a mishap with delivery (my fault, I have a click happy hand) I bought another. Now, I bought the suit that has the sleeves, and has a deep V-cut...so quite a bit of cleavage, but as always with 99% of what I wear, it still tasteful. I paired it with jewelry by Yummy which is also at the event. The necklaces you can layer, and I also put on the short sun pendant by Schadenfreude which was available at Collabor88 last November for the Modern Alchemist round. The hair by Truth for this round is also a must have--a curly side pony with a braid and optional star berets.
Zenith has a sweater out which reminded me a bit of Star Trek: Into Darkness(there is a unisex jacket there by David Heather which reminded me exactly of Khan's coat from the beginning. I didn't buy it, but I do know someone who I am going to make buy it because he would look so dapper and just awesome in it). The sweater is kind-of-almost off the shoulder, and the end of the sleeves have a hud you can color change. There are some necklaces there to pair with it (and Maxi Gossamer has a cleaner cut necklace of a very similar style) but I did not purchase those. I have it paired with some leather leggings by Plastik called Shine. I bought them a long time ago, and the combo of the leather leggings and this sweater..well, I think it is perfect, but you can tell me if I am wrong.

Every Leaf and Every Spice for the Perfect Blend
As I mentioned last Sunday, The Liaison Collaborative, Genre, Kustom9, Kawaii Project, and The Secret Affair opened last week. (If I remember correctly all of these events opened on the 15th...don't quote me on it.)
Genre is celebrating a birthday this round, so the theme is Celebration. Lots of party items and some party dresses. I bought one dress from The Annex--it was a really pretty red striped dress. Once I put it on, I paired it with my leather jacket by Foxes. It looks great, but when I got off the stand, the back of the dress has a slit... Like a huge slit. It was way too racy for me, so I switched it for my Anti. There are some other dresses, and some pants there, but I like The Annex dress the best.
The Kawaii Project has some very nice skins from Glam Affair. More natural tones and such, I bought a few, but other than that, there were not any outfits that screamed at me. Moon Amore has a skirt and cardigan combo there. I have been going back and forth debating on whether or not I want to buy one or not. I am still not sure. It seems a bit too young looking for me. For those of you who have teen looking avatars, this might be a cardigan/skirt combo for you.
Kustom9 didn't have any full outfits I had to have, but I did buy lots of separate pieces to make new outfits with pieces from other events. MAINLY for the skirt by Amiable I bought at Season's Story. Pixicat has a crop-sweater at Kustom9 that pairs fabulously with the tulle skirt from Amiable I bought. I was so excited when I saw the sweaters listed on Seraphim. When I tried the demo, It matched perfectly. So BAM! New outfit that is gorgeous. I also bought some more skins from Glam Affair, similar to the ones at The Kawaii Project, but it has colorful eye-shadows and lip glosses.
Last but not least is The Liaison Collaborative. I did not end up buying anything form TLC this round. There is quite a bit of jewelry there this round. I might get a jewelry set by Izzie. It has pearl strands and pearl flowers. It is simple, yet mesmerizing....Yea, I think I am going to break down and buy it. There weren't really and outfits or clothing pieces I had to have. But the jewelry is very nice, not gaudy, not quite simple. Overall very pleasing, and when you wear it, I am sure it will add the perfect touch to any outfit.
As always, have a great day and week. Enjoy your cuppa. Hugs and Smooches!~

Tea and a Seasoned Storyteller
Happy Sunday. I hope this week has been productive and wonderful for all of you. Last weekend was crazy in regards to events. So this past week has been quite the reprieve from teleport craziness.
Season's Story opened last Saturday, and I had to try to teleport most of the day to get in. Once I got in, after trying on and off most of the day, only five booths fully rezzed for me. Luckly, of the five booths, three of them were the designers I wanted to purchase from. FYI, there are more gachas at this event than I have seen before. Zenith has a gacha, and the dresses for it are cute and simple. For some reason Xylon Bigbear is on a chiffon kick. Recently a lot of chiffon dresses and skirts have been released from her; FaMESHed, Uber, Season's Story, Shiny Shabby, lots of chiffon. NOT COMPLAINING. I love the look of chiffon. So when I saw the dresses in the gachas, I was able to get lots of dresses in different colors and patterns, and one of the rare sweaters (I got the short sweater with owl bag). The dresses of course pair really well with the sweater, and you can wear the dresses by themselves (they do look perfect for a luncheon or a brunch).
There are some random items I also purchased at Season's Story, some sweaters, some leg warmers (for slink feet I do not have yet, but plan on getting in the future), a lace skirt, some Ugg-like boots, and a pair of leggings. Again, random items, and I haven't properly paired them with anything yet. They don't really fit the theme of the blog, but still nice. I did get a shirt/fur vest combo from Kitja. It is my first purchase from this designer. I liked the combo together, I have yet to try the vest or the shirt separate, but I think I will be able to pair these items with other combo's in my inventory.
I did go to We <3 Role-Play a few days after it opened the week before last. I did not see much that screamed had to have. There is a hair there I liked by Tableau Vivant, but I thought it would look better on a male avatar than a female. But I am not too into warrior-like hair. There were not really any outfits or accessories that jumped out at me, but like always, I saw some items that would look great with friends and such. So go ahead and take a look.
Liaison Collaborative, Kustom9, Kawaii Project, Genre opened up this Thursday. I will put up a post with pictures and thoughts most likely next week! As always much love and enjoy your cuppa. Hugs and smooches~
