Hey everyone! I am back from my vacation, and let's just say I am already planning another. Who doesn't like spending time on white sandy beaches and watching dolphins play all day long? Or fishing! UGH, I didn't have enough time to actually fish this vacation, so the next one I am going to have to just spend the whole time fishing. Get my quota in. I know this post is way overdue, but you still have some time to visit Collabor88 before April 7th. March's theme is Secret Garden.
I loved watching the movie The Secret Garden when I was little, and I loved it so much I read the book. Beautiful. It is what got me into working outside and gardening. I didn't know what the theme was going to be this round until right when it opened. I was shocked and awed for sure. I did get a little Linden$ crazy, but I stayed within my budget! Most important.
My favorite and cutest purchase is by Birdy, and it's a cute holdable hedgehog named Hoggy. I have named mine Hans. The hedgehog is cute and cuddley and I love him. When I saw him I thought of the old story about Hans the Hedgehog. I remember watching the old Jim Henson show The Storyteller and this was one of the episodes. It was a bout a boy who was born and looked like a hedgehog, and ran off and, long story short, ended up marrying a princess and turning into a handsome man. While this hedgehog doesn't turn into a prince or into anything, he is super adorable.
Zaara has a cute jumpsuit out called Ekanta, and I had to buy the fatpack. At only 888L$ for 8 different colors, that is a steal! If you don't want the fatpack, it is 288L per jumpsuit. It fits Maitreya Lara Mesh Body only, so beware of that. The jumpsuits are simple and cute, and can be worn with practically anything in my opinion. Love them.
The Secret Store has a cute dress/teddy with cute slippers with pom-poms on the toes. I really liked the shoes, but I just felt the little silk dress was a must. I think it would look a bit edgy with a cropped leather jacket. I have the dress right now with no accessories because I want to find the perfect jacket for it, or a nice knit sweater. So this dress right now is "to be continued" in my inventory.
Pixicat also has a cute delicate looking dress, and the name for it really fits it, Delicate. It is little, it is lacey, and it just is precious. I also LOVE this dress by Nylon Outfitters called "Secret Garden Dress". The dress is a light, it looks classy, and it has Maitreya appliers for it as well as layers for the classic avatar. I find myself going between my Maitreya body and my classic body a lot.
There are also a lot of really cute hair styles for the ladies to try out. Doe has a really cute simple do, and so does Little Bones and Exile. Doe and Exile have floral options. While Doe you can color change the roses, with Exile the daisies stay the same color, white. Not a bad thing, just it would be nice to color change them.
I hope everyone has a great week! And I hope you all get to check out Collabor88's Secret Garden before April 6th. April 6th is the last day this round will be open, and Collabor88 will be setting up for their new round on April 7th. Stay awesome Tea Readers! Hugs and Smooches!

Let's Spike the Fruity Punch!
Yay for Sundays! I am so glad today is Sunday. Today is my only day off this week (and this week has been exhausting), so I am going to make the most of it. Let's talk about Collabor88 shall we.
Collabor88 opened on Monday with the theme Summer Punch. I adore all the pineapple prints at the event! Secret time...I love pineapple print. To me it looks classy and reminds me of the Daughters of the American Revolution, because the pineapple is one of the symbols(I know this because my family is in the DAR). I really like the pineapple shorts by Nylon Outfitters--they are really cute, but it was hard for me to pair them with a shirt at first. At the event there are shorts a plenty, and a few bikinis. Earth told me over the weekend she didn't have any mesh bikinis...so...yea... She really needed a new bikini...bad. On Monday when she went to Collabor88 she bought a bikini by Baiastice in the black floral print. She looks good in it, and it fits really well. I am just glad she is finally catching up with some of us in regards to mesh staples.
Earth actually ended up spending more than I did at the event, and she bought a ton more outfits! She told me Monday night when I got home from work she had been four times. I asked her to pose with me for this week's post. We both bought these dresses by ISON. They are simple and they look so light and flowy. I love summer dresses; well, I love dresses period. I bought the white/blue dress because of the floral print on the bottom(of course). Turns out the dress looks really good with this new hair by Truth(the flowers add so much). There are some fun shorts by Addams at the event. They are rather expensive at 388L$ for one pair, but it comes with a hud to change the pocket and belt texture and belt buckle. Earth also bought a skirt and crop-top combo from Fashionably Dead as well. Very cute and very Summer fun. There are some hairs at Exile also at the event, but Earth and I only bought the updo.
One of my favorite shirt/short combos is by Tee*fy and this is why--one of the shirt options is white and black stripped and it reminds me of Coco Chanel. Coco used to wear these black stripped shirts and she is my fashion inspiration. To me she is the epitome of sophistication and class. She had said at one point before she would ever leave her home she would take off one piece of jewelry. So what do I do before I ever leave my apartment? Take off one piece of jewelry. (Side note: All us ladies need to give thanks to her for the Little Black Dress, it started with her.) When I saw the tank top with the stripes I had to buy it, I just had to.
Big thank you to Earth for posing with me for this week's post! And big round of applause for her joining us in the mesh bikini world! I know it seems silly, but I was way too shocked when she said she didn't have a mesh bikini. She had told me not too long ago she also had no mesh underwear...which we then fixed immediately because I don't care who you are, you have to have some mesh panties. Let's try to keep up in this mesh world my lovelies. Hugs and Smooches my Tea Readers~

Maharaja Chai and a Berry Scone
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope this past week has been wonderful for all of you. I know it was rough for me. Turns out I had the stomach flu and a sinus infection. Despite my sickness, I still was able to enjoy my shopping, and lets just say... I have really enjoyed this past week.
Shiny Shabby opened last week and let me just say....flowers! Lots of floral prints and garden items. Everyone is trying to jump into spring and prepare for the fun summer. I bought some jewelry sets by Aphorism, some rings by ieQED, and a dress by GizzA. I didn't end up buying the dress from Zenith. I tried the demo and the skirt didn't look flattering on my shape. Fun round, and there are some cute shoes as well, so go check it out. There is something there for everyone.
Now onto my favorite thing since Collabor88 opened a few weeks ago...UBER! The theme this round is Spice, and let me tell you it reminds me of Bollywood and India and is just my dream. This month is looking to be my month for rounds. Collabor88 is Into the Light, and is all with my favorite color schemes. Uber is Spice and has my style and pieces of my soul. I just.... Love it. All the Hairs are awesome. Truth's is fun--it is a long side braid. Moon has a pretty LONG (like really long) hair. Olive has a LONG (again, like really long) hair. And Little Bones has a hair that is long and one comes with a head-scarf option and it is just fun. I bought a lot of hairs this round.
I bought a ton of jewelry and outfits, but I am only going to mention of few of them for this post. If I listed all the outfits and jewelry pieces I bought this would turn into a monstrously long post. I really like the Couture Saree by Nylon Outfitters. It is partial mesh with system layers/applier layers. She also has silk shirts and leggings, all in fun prints and colors. Seul has a fun cropped shirt/skirt combo which is very fun. The skirt is high-low and very long in the back; I love it. Maxi Gossamer has a fun jewelry set. The set has a slight discount for the event, so when it goes up in her mainstore the price will increase. The best thing about the Maxi Gossamer set is you can change the colors of the jewels and the metals! So this is a great set to go with practically any outfit. Also...Zaara is at this round! And she has released something for the men this time. A very handsome suit and turban. I ended up buying a turban for myself. I think I will pair it with a dress or something. One of Glam Affair's vendor pictures inspired me. Anyway Zaara's male suit is very dashing and every gentleman needs one, and every lady needs to make sure her man buys one. Love this suit.
So this round of Uber is amazing--you need to go. Shiny Shabby is also very fun and relaxing. You also need to go. I hope you all have a wonderful week this week. Let's all just bask in the awesomeness of the creators/designers at these events. Thank you!

Noon Chai to Add Color to Your Cup
Yay for Sundays! This weekend has been crazy busy for me. Well...this week in general has been crazy busy. Earth and I held a Derby Party yesterday and getting our home prepped and getting the party set up, well...it's exhausting. But oh so worth it for the fun memories. Congrats to American Pharaoh for the win! It was a wonderful race.
Last Saturday Uber opened with it's new round called Neon. It reminds me of Miami, clubbing, and fun times. I was very surprised with how Linden$ happy I was at this event. I went through about 3000L$ without even thinking about it. I just kept hitting pay. I normally like soft pastel colors, and I don't typically go for bright in your face colors. With Uber, ALL the creators did a phenomenal job with the items and the colors. To me all the items were done so tastefully (hints as to why I bought a lot more than I normally do at an event). First, Uber normally has some cool decor to go with the theme every month, and this month they are so cool-let me just say the neon stars and on the ground are AWESOME. I felt like I was in a club the whole time. And getting into the event was easier than normal. I got in without even using my "LetMeIn" teleport Hud.
One of my favorite buys is a party dress (I would not call it cocktail. It screams PARTY) by Nylon Outfitters. Simple dress, only has a mesh skirt piece, the rest goes on the default body (appliers are included for Maitreya's Lara Mesh Body). The dress is black, and partially sheer; there are different neon sign designs on the front of the dress which I just love. I bought the one with the picture of a martini glass with two lips and says "Cocktails and Dreams". Love this dress. I was dancing at The Woods all weekend in it. I had it paired with a leather jacket by Foxes, and then I had at one point my red/blue parrot familiar/pet from Manticore as well. Love this dress. It was a great price, at around 200L$!!! I think it is a steal. I also bought the necklace and earrings at the booth. Just amazing items at such great prices, you really can't go wrong.
Tres Blah is at the event as well, and the cute cut-out skater dress. I wanted to be a bit different so I bought the yellow dress. The dress, as like all of Tres Blah's stuff, is simple and very well cut. I like the dress a lot and I can see using it for a lot of things and pairing it with items and and such to create so many different looks. Another great buy. There is also a dress by Seul I liked. It looks like a simple cocktail dress, but the sides are open and have ties running across. The dress has a hud which is really easy to use to help match the skin tone of the dress with your skins. I had a little bit of difficulty at first because two tones work with my skin (I normally use Glam Affair Jamaica tone). I bought the black dress because I thought black would be very versatile. I have it paired with bright heels to give it that POP. Also Baiastice has a dress that is cute, short, and has zippers down the front (easy access for those of you risque folks). And I really did like the new hair by Wasabi Pills at the event (convenient since those booths are close to each other). The hair is curly, not too big, and very fun looking. Reminds me of Magika's Lemon hair I bought a while back.
The Truth hair for the round I don't know what to make of, but the new release Malea I love. I ended up buying the color pack to go with the outfit by Valentia I bought at Uber. I wanted to wear the teal or dark blue color to match the dress. I really like how the colors just pop. I also bought the Zenith Romper for the event. I bought the floral print (of course). The cut is very short, but I like how flirty it looks.
Well, I hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday. I will be posting again this week on Thursday with a surprise announcement! So be looking for that. I am really excited about it. Hugs and Smooches~

Earl Grey on a Winter Afternoon
I hope everyone had a fantastic and safe New Year. I know I did; I may have had a bit too much champagne and saki, but it was New Years!
Uber opened on New Year's Eve, and this round's theme is Opulence. For those of you who do not know what opulence means, opulence is wealth, riches, or affluence--the designers this round sure did keep with the theme. Everything is elegant, almost over the top with gems, and the price range for a majority of the items is expensive. The hair by Truth Hawks is similar to last month's hair; it is long, curly, AND it comes with a head jewel(head jewel has a separate color change hud so the jewel can match any outfit). As usual the hair is at a slight discount since Truth is the main sponsor for the event. Almost everything else though...is expensive. Zenith has a very pretty dress at the event and it is slightly more costly than her other items at similar events. I love the style and the textures, I did not like how the dress is flat chested...like flat.... I still bought the dress, because like I said, I love the style, and the look. But the complete lack of chest is very new and odd to me. I have the Truth hair paired with it, so the hair goes over the breasts, this way it is more difficult to tell it is in fact flat, but still...flat chested is not really a great look on me.
Due to prices this round, I wasn't able to buy everything I wanted right when it opened. There is a dress/fur shawl combo by Foxes, and Tres Blah has a glitter skirt and halter top combo there as well. both Foxes and Tres Blah, for their combos you buy the pieces separately, and both pieces add up to +400$L, so I will be buying them at a later date.
Seraphim stated they were re-sizable, so I will have to go back to FaMESHed and look at the stall. Maybe I am just having a brain fart over it. I am going to have to mess with them. I like the bracelets and for one set it is 250$L... So I did drop a bit of Linden to get these two packs, but for me they were worth it, and they still are, I just need to re-size them!
Since the Holiday Season is almost over, I am looking forward to the Chinese New Year in February (February 19th for those of you who don't follow). So Happy New Year everyone, and I hope all of you have a prosperous and happy year!
